        Attorney General and member of Edward IV's Privy Council. Son of Sir Richard Molyneux (d. 1459) and his wife, Anne Stanley (d. 1459). Married Anna Dutton in 1463. Created a Knight Banneret by Richard, duke of Gloucester (later King Richard III), at Berwick after an expedition to Scotland, 1482. Was among those chosen to carry the body of King Edward IV at his burial in 1483. Built the church and the ancient hall at Hawton and was buried in the chancel of the church.
