BIOGRAPHY: 1910 census: Farmer in Greene, Parke Co., Indiana. Rockville Tribune, December 3, 1912: William T. Shalley sold40 acres in Greene Township to Byard Collings for $6,200. WWI Draft Registration: Tall height, slender build, gray eyes, and brown hair; farmer in Judson.
1920 census: Farmer in Penn, Parke Co., Indiana. 1930 census: Living in Clark Township and farming owned farm.
Rockville Republican 3-9-1933: “Mr. and Mrs. Guy Collings and daughter Freda of Ladoga, visited Jacob Collings and daughters, Tuesday."
Living in New Ross, Indiana in 1934.
Rockville Republican 1-16-1941: "The Tri-Township farmers institute was held in the Baptist Church, Friday. There were about 93 in attendance. The speakers were Mrs. Guy Collings of Bainbridge and W. O Mills of Purdue. Both are very good. Mary Ann Swern read 'Scratch, the Newsboy's Dog' Misses Dorothy Stark, Maxine Delp and Muriel Thomas sang two numbers. The high school orchestra played during the dinner hour. Officers for next year are Orvis Delp, Pres.; Mrs. Joe Jones, secy-treas."
