Rev. Wayne Kivett Age 88, of Coatesville, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2005. He was born in Morgan County on May 8, 1917 the son of Frank and Pearl Oliver Kivett. He was the owner of Wayne Kivett Plumbing and Heating, Coatesville for 56 years retiring in 2001. He was also United Methodist minister serving in Knightsville for 14 years and Mt. Zion for 7 years. He was a member of the Coatesville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Christina Walton Kivett who he married on February 11, 1940; son, Lawrence E. (Marcia) Kivett, Kokomo; grandchildren: Krystal (Travis) Kelett, Kokomo, Dawn (Greg) Justice, Ft. Wayne, Tanya (Ron) Decker, Kokomo and Lawrence Kivett, Jr. (Stacie), Kokomo; 13 great--grandchildren; sisters: Celia Anderson, Mooresville and Martha J. Mello, Greentown; brothers-in-law: Donald Walton, Plainfield and Harold (Bob) Walton, Coatesville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coatesville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hays Funeral Home, Coatesville from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, 2005.
