        Elsie Mae Williamson Larson, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017, in her sleep at the age of 90. She was born September 16, 1926, in Springfield, MO. to Clay and Dollie May Williamson.

        She married John R. Larson, December 7, 1945, who had just returned from serving in the Army during W.W.II. They lived on a farm in Pleasant Hope and sold grade A milk for a number of years, and later sold the farm and bought 20 acres, just north of Springfield. They had one child, daughter, Gloria, born April 20, 1950. Elsie Mae, known to family and friends as "Tunnie" was a homemaker, wife and mother, enjoyed day trips, feeding and watching the birds, deer and wildlife. She enjoyed canning and everyone loved her canned tomatoes and especially her pickled beets.Elsie and John were baptized July 1953, and attended the Church of God. They rarely missed a service. Elsie enjoyed taking care of potluck supplies for church.

        Elsie was preceded in death by her parents Dollie and Clay, her husband John, her brother Eugene Williamson, half sister and brother-in-law:Nola and Jack Beal,and a nephew, Marvin Beal.

        She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law; Gloria and Michael Anderson, Springfield, MO. a brother Houston and wife Eula Mae Williamson, nephews wife, Velta Mae (Beal) Melrose and a number of nieces and nephews.

        Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with burial to follow, in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
