Cautionary Note
There seem to have been two Grace Sherburnes living around the same time who are often confused in pedigrees on the internet, as well as in the Sherburne entry in Burke's Extinct Baronetcies of 1838. [1] There is Grace, daughter of Hugh Sherburne and Ann née Talbot, who is the subject of this profile, and Grace, daughter of Sir Richard, whose profile is at Sherburne-31. They are clearly distinguished in Flower's Visitation of Lancashire of 1567, when both Graces would have been well within living memory (the other Grace died in 1565, just before the Visitation).[2]
They are different people and should not be merged.
Biography
Grace was the daughter of Hugh Sherburne and Ann Talbot. Her parents married in 1510/11 so she was presumably born no earlier than 1511. Grace married Thomas Bradley [Bradley-811], son of John Bradley [Bradley-807]
Children of Thomas Bradley and Grace Sherborne:
1. John Bradley (1499-1567)
2. Nicholas Bradley (1501-1521)
3. *THOMAS BRADLEY JR. (1503-1564)
4. Hugh Bradley (1505-)

Research Notes
Some pedigrees on the internet, and the Sherburne entry in Burke's Extinct Baronetcies of 1838[1], show Thomas marrying Grace Sherburne, wife of Roger Nowell. It is known that Grace Sherburne was still married to Roger Nowell at the time of her death in 1565.[2] There is no mention in Whitaker’s History of Whalley or Flower’s 1567 Visitation of Lancashire of Grace having had a previous husband before Roger Nowell. There seem to have been two Grace Sherburnes living around the same time who are confused in some pedigrees on the internet, as well as in Burke's Extinct Baronetcies. There is Grace, daughter of Hugh Sherburne and Ann née Talbot, and Grace, daughter of Sir Richard, whose profile is at Sherburne-31. They are clearly distinguished in Flower's Visitation of Lancashire of 1567, when both Graces would have been well within living memory.[3]
The Grace Sherburne who married Thomas Bradley was daughter of Hugh Sherburne and Ann daughter of Sir Thomas Talbot, according to the Sherborn family history written by Charles Davies Sherborn.[4]
Elizabeth Rishton was Roger Nowell’s first wife, and seems not to have had a previous husband. Roger divorced her in 1524/5 (16 Henry VIII).[2] so it is possible that she subsequently married Thomas Bradley. But, even if this is the case, she would not have been the mother of a John Bradley born around 1499. Flower’s Visitation states that John Bradley’s mother was Grace Sherburne.
