Thomas, 2nd Earl of Angus; captured Berwick 1355; Great Chamberlain of Scotland 1357/8; imprisoned for alleged complicity in the murder of David II's mistress Catherine Mortimer; married (papal dispensation date 3 June 1353) Margaret (married 2nd Sir John de St Clair of Herdmanston), daughter of Sir William de St Clair or Sinclair of Rosslyn, and died of the plague while captive in Dumbarton Castle 1361.
