1860 Census: Edmonson P. O., Jackson Twp, Crittenden Co, AR page 837. James was single age 24 born AR, working as a clerk. He was living with B. C. Crump.
James was not mentioned as an heir in John Holloway's probate. It is assumed he died in the 1860s. However the Holloway probate does mention a Florence Spain, a minor. This could possibly be a daughter of James if he married before his assumed death in the 1860s.
