Alan Fitz Walter was The Second Great Steward of Scotland. He is said to have been a Crusader with Richard Coeur-De-Lion. Alan seems to have emulated his father in the generosity of his grants and appears to have enjoyed as much property as his father, which enabled him to act generously and wisely.
