The church was established in 1850 and was used as a hospital by the Union army in the Civil War. Dear Aunt Lorene, I am very sorry to hear about your mom. I remember how she always wore her hair and the dresses that she wore and I can even remember her voice even though I have not seen her or you for many years you will always be a part of me. My prayers are with you.

May God bless you with nothing but good memories! Lorene I know how difficult loosing a loved one,no matter the age. She had so many wonderful years, and touched so many lives. I have nothing but good memories of her.I love you and Earl and pray for each of my family. Roger and Steven and all their families, like you and Earl, I keep tucked in my heart, for safe keeping.
Time and distance may seperate us. But nothing can seperate us from the love of God. Lois lost her only son on January 9th. He was only 22. We can only lean on each other and encourage those we love in prayer. My words are of no comfort to anyone. But my love is sincere. I will lift you always to the Father who brings comfort to us all through
Christ! May He bless you all with
His peace and comfort each of you.
Love to all.Linda

I am so pleased that I got to show respect to Sis. Velva by sending her a beautiful Christmas card. Ev en though we will miss her badly, we can be assured she is in her Heavenly Home. My word to the daughter and grandsons and grand daughter is to try to make it through to meet her with all your might. I have attended church with Sister Velva, called her on the phone and enjoyed her fellowship. She loved her Lord and loved to honor her Lord by attending Church when she was able. Yes, she wll be missed, but Heaven has a new Angel. I will be praying for you that you .......will also strive to be perfect as Sis. Velva Did......God put his seal of Approval on her... She LIVED TO BE 98 years old. WOW WOW WOW....wE WILL HAVE A HARD TIME BEATING THAT......
