(senior photo) === Klyce was very active in her community having been a member of the History Club of Leaksville, DAR (Daughter's of the American Revolution), Eden Preservation Society, several local bridge clubs and served as head of Lawson Cemetery for many years. She was a member of Leaksville United Methodist Church and a graduate of Greensboro College. Mrs. Chandler was a retired English teacher for Leaksville High School. Surviving are two brothers, J. H. Hampton and David Carter Hampton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Owen "Pete" Chandler, brother, William "Billy" Walter Hampton, Jr.; and sister, Mae Hampton Fulcher.
