  THURSTANE DE MONTFORT, who succeeded his brother, Robert and was enreoffed of several lordships by Henry de Newburgh, the first Earl of Warwick. At the chief seat of his family in Warwichshire he erected a castle of great strength, which he call Beldesert. He was succeeded by his eldest son: His two children: Henry De Montfort, eldest son and successor. Thurstand De Charlecto.
