  [james messer.FTW] Note: Held moiety of Combe Bisset Hugh de Plessets, who, doing his homage in April, 1263, had livery of the manors of Oxenardton, Kedelinton, and Stuttesdon, co. Oxford, which were his mother's inheritance; the two former being holden of the king by barony, for which manors in the 48th Henry III [1264] he paid £100 for his relief. This feudal lord m. Isabel, dau. of John de Riparius, and dying in 1291, was s. by his son, Hugh de Plessets.
