Page 479: chart showing genealogy of the Vowell/Hooker family beginning with Jenaph Vowell. Jenaph's son Jago married Alice, daughter and heiress of Richard Hooker of Hurst Castle, county Southampton. After that the family added alias Hooker to their surname.
