In the 1870 Green County Census, Richard Warren, age 27, and Elizabeth (his wife) age 17, are living in family #49 in the Greensburg district of the county. The family head is Susan DeSpain, age 42. Her occupation is listed as "House of Entertainment." In the 1870 Taylor County Census for the Saloma District, Thomas Warren was family #25. He was 27 years old, a Farmer born in Kentucky. His wife, Louisa, was 21 and also born in Kentucky. The children were: John R., 4; Eliza H., 3; William, 1 year old

In the 1880 Taylor County Census for the Oak Hill Precinct, Richard Warren was family 102. He was 36 years old, a Farmer born in Kentucky. His wife is Elizabeth, age 32. The children are: (Only Joseph and George are Elizabeth's children - others are from Richard's former wives); John R., 13; Eliza F., 11; Jefferson, 5; Joseph, 2; and George T., age 1 month.

There is a R. T. Warren listed in the 1897 Taylor County school census with a child, James Warren, b. 29 Jan 1878, attending Beech Valley school. They live in the Pitman post office area of Taylor County.

In the 1900 Taylor County Census Richard was 57, Elizabeth was 52. The children were: Joseph, 22; Andy, 18; Rosseau, 16; Mary E., 15; George C., 13; Nancy J., 13; and Ernest L., was 10 years old.
