BIRTH: Birth place is from obituary; other sources have Maryland.
BIOGRAPHY: Came with his parents to Poweshiek Co., Iowa in 1844. After death of his mother he moved with father to Jackson Co., Kansas in 1856. In 1860 he moved back to Jackson in Poweshiek County. Moved to Montezuma, Iowa in 1908 and retired from farming.
