Alot of people have been complaining about the vestal virgins and gong
man in the Mt. Seleya scene in STIII.  There is precedent for the gong
player: there was a similar character in the "Amok Time" episode.  I
will admit that the virgins seemed a bit strange, although it provided
me with something to look at during what I considered a pretty boring
(but necessary to the plot) scene (how long can you watch expressions on
peoples' faces?).

What I'm wondering is how people can discern the past sexual
experience of someone on a movie screen.... :-)
