My understanding was that Dec didn't suddenly stop manufacturing 20's,
they merely decided not to pursue further development of the line.
This is different from ceasing to supply a product you've been praising
to the skies and which your customers have come to rely on.

Dec probably isn't pursuing further development on the PDP8 either, but
they're still building them for people who want them.
