Best quality SID & sound settings in Vice? [message #45616]

There seem to be a multitude of options for configuring emulation
sound quality in VICE now - and there is even a standalone SID player
in the new VICE release. To save me having to test and evaluate every
single setting what combination of settings would give me the absolute
highest quality of SID emulation?

just use the default settings, anything else is matter of taste and/or
esoteric.
