Subject: LaserActive problem...


Hi, i am struggling with a problem that keeps happening with my LaserActive.  
I was playing "Manhattan Requiem" a while back and in the middle of my 
questioning of a person the screen turned black and the disc sounded like it 
stopped spinning.  I was thinkning that this might be a problem with my duo 
pac, so i tossed in the sega pac and Blue chicago Blues.  Same problem, after 
a few miniutes to a hour of play the screen would go blank again and the disc 
would stop spinning.  Now, i havent noticed this while watching movies yet, 
but then again i haent watched a disc on my LA for a while.  Does anyone hae 
any idea why somthing like this would happen?  Does pioneer have a tech line 
or a repair/exchange program for the LA?

Finally!  We expect a shipment of Kisado converters late next week. We will 
only be getting a limited quantity, so it'll be first come first 
served.  We are only announcing this to the list and a few people that have 
left us an e-mail address.  Due to circumstances beyond our control, the 
new selling price will be $59.99. Sorry about that!  We will not add this 
item to our web site, but you can order it on-line.  Simply place an order 
in the normal manner, and then add Kisado converter in the comments 
section.  One per household please. If you do not have a credit card, we 
will hold one for you for exactly five working days. Call or send an e-mail 
to reserve one.
Dave has promised us another batch in the weeks to come, so if you miss out
