Silent Debuggers is one of THE scariest games I've ever played. So
suspenseful. The only fps I've seen that comes anywhere close is Aliens vs.
Predator for the PC. Has anyone ever beaten Silent Debuggers? I've never
gotten too far because I can never get to the aliens fast enough before the
blocks start getting sealed off. Perhaps I'm just incompetent...

I remember beating Silent Debuggers way back in the day... it was pretty
hard, so I wouldn't say you are incompetent. I don't remember how many times
I had to replay some of the levels to get past them. ( : In fact, until
seeing this post, I thought I was the only person alive that loved that
game... I would always use it to show the turbo off to my friends (before I
got the Duo, that is). It's the only FPS I've ever liked, probably because
of the cinemas between and during the levels... they actually keep you
mindful of your mission so you don't just feel like you are walking around
in vain.

And seeing this post reminds me of a question I've never been able to find
an answer for:
Does anyone know what the secret is on that one level? Leon says something
like, "Sensors show there may be a secret on this level", in the mission
briefing... and when you are in the hallways, he calls you to say, "...there
is a secret in this area". I remember playing that level for days trying to
find a secret... walking around backwards (ala Order of the Griffon),
shooting up walls, pulling my hair out...

If anyone knows what that secret is- please tell me... I'll mail you a warm
apple pie or something. ( ;

Hey Turbo-List People,

I'm a relative newcomer to the Turbo world, although I had played a Turbo
when it first hit the market. In fact, I asked my parents for a Turbo at
the time and got a Genesis instead. The nerve! In any event, here's what
I'd like to know. What are the **MUST OWN** Hu-Card and CD games? I like
shooters, RPGs, puzzle games, and just about every other genre of game.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions!

Sincerely,

-Ian Johnston
