I have a rare refurbished Walter Koken physician exam/surgery chair(orig patent #80443) for sale. I believe it to be a 1930-1932 year as it has ridges on the pedestal base.

I have gone through this chair TOP to BOTTOM inside and out to make sure it is in good working/usable condition, it does have some none oem hardware that is tucked away as original pieces were not salvageable. Pump cycles the chair up and down(was rebuilt by hand), relaxes or allows raising of back and footrest, swivels on its base. The back relaxes with the armrests and can lock in a multiple of positions or go down below the base of the chair(Used for surgery). It is an Extremely unique/cool looking vintage chair with brown wood grain looking porcelain over cast iron steel. Does have rust over the chrome areas and some small chipped porcelain but it gives it a really awesome patina.

If you google the original patent it has some other explanation of the chair like the built in blood spillway and other unique features. I currently use it as an inspiring office chair but could have many other uses and am trying to find it a good home! Worth approx $1600 make me an offer if your interested, chair is in Lake Havasu Az but shipping is always an alternative and I do have other pics.

Thanks guys!!
