The thing I am trying to create requires some moderately ornate breastplate. I have been trying to determine if I should make the piece separately or sew or glue it on to a corset. I am buying a new corset for this venture. I had the thought of using copper sheet metal for a lot of the metal pieces, I have the equipment for the metal working.

But I am not sure how it will effect the corset itself. Of course I am fairly new at all this.

Thoughts and advice would be appreciated.
