While late 1970s and early 1980s gaming memories may conjur up the Atari VCS (A.K.A. the Atari 2600) for most people, there were a number of competitors. The Magnavox Odyssey 2 (squared) was one of those. Though it was a distant 3rd in sales behind the Atari VCS and the Intellivision, it still did quite wel for a while.
