  This problem is probably due to emacs sending rmso cookies at the
beginning of lines that had just been cleared.  Sending unnecessary
cookies on a HP terminal is inadvisable due to the terrible amount
of time that it takes the HP terminals to process highlight commands
(especially the newer 239X series).

  This problem was fixed in GNU Emacs with version 18.39 Beta.  The
current versions (18.41 or 18.44) work fine.  If you don't have a
newer version and can't get it, let me know and I'll send you a fix.

  If you are running a version of HP-UX prior to 5.22, you will need
to add sg#0 to you terminfo entry.  We are able to run 2932 terminals
off of a 350 w/98642 mux at 9600 baud with no lossage.
