I picked up Paperback Writer which sells for about $40. It has
online help, 40 or 80 column display, and shows italics and bold
on the screen. You can skip from word to word, page forward and
back, goto top and bottom of document, and search for words. The
is also a spell checker available. This word processor has setup
files which are used to describe different types of printers. It
comes with a few setups and you can add your own if you have a
printer not recognized. I really like the fact that italics, bold,
and underlining show on the screen just as it will be printed. I
also picked up a Canon printer which is available from Protecto for
around $200. This is a dot matrix near letter quality printer. I
think it comes very close to the Epson FX-85 which lists for $499.
