Message-ID: <83@ucbcad.UUCP> Date: Mon, 22-Jul-85 22:28:33 EDT Article-I.D.: ucbcad.83 Posted: Mon Jul 22 22:28:33 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 25-Jul-85 03:38:33 EDT Distribution: net Organization: UC Berkeley CAD Group, Berkeley, CA Lines: 15 Xref: watmath net.audio:5368 net.analog:380 I ran across grounding problems a few years back when designing some terribly sensitive and high-speed analog stuff, and I was pointed to an absolutely great little book on grounding that answered all my questions. I really wish I could remember the name --- somebody out there must know it. It also had some very good information on reducing RFI and EMI, and hints on how to pass FCC regulations. (For net.analog readers, this is regarding a discussion about grounding and audio equipment. A certain high-end interconnect cable is marked with arrows, not to indicate signal flow, but to indicate grounding.) -- -Mike Klein ...!ucbvax!ucbmerlin:klein (UUCP) klein%ucbmerlin@berkeley (ARPA)
