The switcher has remote controll and fast swicthing capabilitys. Well as we all know there is a problem when we switch from camera A to cam B. The tape slows down because its going back into the seach mode. At least this is what ive been told. Question! If When I whant to switch from A to B I invoke a vertical sync till source B goes into its natural vert sync then let b take over will I still get the moter slow down into search? The video monitor will black out for a max of 1 frame but this is ok, since the eye will not really see this. Well if any one out there in net land has any video recorder servo system experiance please find it your heart to help out this poor helpless video engineer. Jack Lee Engle
