Ditroff/Ffortid, An Adaptation of the UNIX DITROFF for Formatting Bi-Directional Text. FFORTID was used to extend DITROFF for preparing text with a mixture of English and Hebrew. The authors are Cary Buchman and Daniel M. Berry of UCLA. As for The Bible on micros, the only package I've seen (available for the IBM-PC and possibly others) is a copy of The Bible with an analysis program called (ugh) THE WORD Processor. -Ron
