  There is a chute down to the tenth from the ninth level.  But beware,
  there is an obstacle in the way such as a teleport trap or somesuch, I
  don't remember which.  However, if you do find it, it is easy to go to
  the tenth level without meeting any monster.
  Someone said earlier to ignore the graffiti on the first part of the
  tenth level, but I feel that if you decipher it, it will save you a
  lot of time.  If you take a wrong path you get teleported back to the
  beginning (but this fact is not obvious until you try to map the
  seemingly endless maze).
