I found a source for the fabled Tobasco pepper. The company, Le
Jardin du Gourmet, specializes in European and hard-to-find seeds.
They also carry shallot sets (three varieties!), herb seeds and
plants (including dye herbs like woad), a line of French seeds
including flageolets and cornichons, and a few interesting foods.
They also have a nifty "20-cent seed packet" program which lets you buy
a few seeds of a given variety to test it out.

The company's address is:
Le Jardin du Gourmet
West Danville, VT
           05873.

Bon appetit!
