I've often wondered about films that bring forth interesting ideas
but then never carry them forth, either due to short-sightedness or the
acts of the editing floor. So, what ideas have you wished were picked up
and continued with, at least a little farther.
My nomination: The monkey-human interface in 'Brainstorm'.
This event is even more relevent because they never even explain why the
concept was dropped.
