The former is after an employee for a specific job; the latter after warm meat to put into ANY job it can fill. A posting to net.jobs from a headhunting firm may be just bait. Sorry if I offend legitimate employment agencies, but anyone with experience in the job market is aware of the widespread abuse of some agencies. For numerous reasons I would applaud a general rule of net.jobs for principals only, not agencies. -- D Gary Grady Duke U Comp Center, Durham, NC 27706 (919) 684-3695 USENET: {seismo,decvax,ihnp4,akgua,etc.}!mcnc!ecsvax!dgary
