This is a general call for help concerning BinHex. It doesn't
   seem to work for me.
     Here is my situation:
As a relatively new Mac owner I missed all the news concerning
BinHex. I finally found a copy, but no one can tell me how it
   works.
I have transferred hex files using MacTerminal and a MacForth
terminal program, but BinHex chews up the files and spits out
garbage. (Actually, it spits out 0 length applications, which
   don't run very well).
I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give. There
must be something incredibly simple that I am overlooking.

   Thanks in advance,
    Mike Sieweke
