I'm considering taking a four-day course being put on in Toronto
by Integrated Computer Systems, a Los Angeles company.
It's called "Knowledge-based systems and AI: Hands-On".

Has anyone had experience with this company? I gather from talking
to them on the phone that they're quite large and experienced in
the training field, but I haven't heard of them before.

The course is to be taught by Alan Thompson, described as an
internationally known author in the field of Robotics, and a
member of NASA's Robotics Research Program at the Jet Propulsion
Laboratory at CalTech. Any further information about Mr. Thompson
from those who know him or have been taught by him would be appreciated.
