Also, it was pointed out in a number of episodes that Number 6 was
somehow "special".  Number 2 always had orders that Number 6 was not to
be harmed.  His number reflects his status.  Evidently, the Village just
had a smaller ruling hierarchy than say your typical large American
corporation.  What I always wanted to know is who were Numbers 3, 4, and
5.  I don't recall a single mention of them.
