Sure it's neat to see movie scenes shot where you live, but I can go one
better.  I was attending the opening of "The Kidnapping of the President",
which was shot in Nathan Phillips Square (city hall) in Toronto.  The
opening was done in a theatre on the other side of the street.  There were
several scenes in which I could actually see the cinema that I was watching
the film in!
