I don't know what the general music is that plays throughout, but
the music that plays when Richard first sees Elise's picture is
the 18th variation of Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
Richard later describes this warhorse has his "most favorite music
in the whole world" when a Grand Hotel music box plays it.
