I am a devoted triviot meself, so here are some GREAT questions
no body knows about or cares about. Enjoy!!!

1) The cartoon character Elmer Fudd was not always a human hunter.
Early on, in the 1930's, he was another type of character. What
was he?

Answer: A pig. And he talked in the same w for r voice (i.e. wabbit,
wascally, &c.)

2) In the order of their construction, what are the oldest major
league baseball stadiums in America??

Answer: (I think) Comiskey Park, Chicago
	  	    Fenway Park, Boston
		    Tiger Stadium, Detroit
		    Wrigley Field, Chicago

I believe the dates for construction are 1912, 1914, 1914, and 1915
respectively. I could be wrong in the order, but I know these are
the oldest stadiums for baseball, and for possibly any sport.

3) Speaking of stadiums, here is some interesting trivia...

Three teams played at the Old Polo Grounds in New York. What were
they? A. The Yankees (prior to 1924), The Giants (Prior to 1958)
and the Mets (prior to 1964)

There are some ballparks in big cities that are not used, and I
think are still standing. Among them are Colt Park in Houston
(The home of the Astros when they were the Houston Colt .45s),
and Seals stadium in San Fransisco.

4) What is the longest running show on TV?

Meet the Press, going since 1947!!!

5) In 1962, the Mets lost their first seven games. But in their
eigth game, they finally won. Who was the winning pitcher?

A. Jay Hook.

6) The Mets also hold a record for most losses by a modern team
in baseball -- 140 in 1962. (As you can guess, I am a BIG Mets
fan)

7) Who is currently the longest ruling monarch in the world?

A. Would you believe Hirohito, of WWII fame? Since 1926, he
has ruled.
