We use the Pronet.  One of the major factors for us was the speed and
the ability to use fiber optics as a transmission medium.  We just
installed it and use it.  We've had no problems except one UNIBUS
board that was dead on arrival and cheerfully replaced by Proteon.
We're standing in line for the first of their 80mb boards now.
