I have just seen my first episode of "Burns and Allen" and now I
understand why it was so popular, especially in light of the fact
that television was just born when these shows were produced.

If anyone in the Chicago area is interested, "Burns and Allen" can
be seen on WTTW (Channel 11) on Sunday mornings.
