I am a novice to the biking world. I expect to buy my first
motorcycle soon (probably a 1984 Honda Sabre), and I am looking into
accesories (i.e. helmets, jackets, fairings, etc.).

It seems as though prices for these items are MUCH greater at
the dealers than they are through mail-order; for instance, a particular
helmet is $250 at a dealer versus $185 through mail-order (and I wouldn't
have to pay sales tax with mail-order).

My question is- does anybody have any experience with these
mail-order houses (e.g. the ones that you often see in motorcycle
magazines)? Are they reputable? Assuming that one knows exactly what
he wants to buy, is there any real reason not to buy mail-order?

Any help would be appreciated! (Also, does anybody know anything
about the Honda dealers in the Holmdel, NJ area, particularly about
service departments??)

	Thanks much.
