I enjoy living with an SO because I am not ready to get married. When I get married it will be to the end, and I am not ready to be committed like that yet. However, I am a caring person and enjoy the intimacy of the one I love. By living together we can share our lives just as much as if we were married, but without the "trapped" feeling. I do consider living together a serious committment, not to be ended rashly. However, as I grow and discover who I am, my basic needs change and I need a different kind of person to fulfill them. Most of my transitions from one live-in to another have been without bitterness, because I do not try to hide my yearnings for something new. I think that most people know when things aren't satisfying to their SO, and would rather reduce the relationship to a close friendship than destroy it. By just living together, this transition is much easier, since the implications of divorce are not present.... dave labuda decvax!cwruecmp!labuda PS : Blind dates? Come on folks, if I can find dates here in Cleveland, I just can't feel sorry for you.... Just what you want to be, You'll be in the end.
