Yes, they won 500 games after their respective trades.  Sorry, I have
no exact figures without my Baseball Encyclopedia.  You may be right
about Wise but A)he never turned in any particularly good years with
the Cards or Red Sox (best years with Phils, I think) and B)I like the
name Spicio Spinks.  (It figures the Cards later got Jauquin Andujar (:-).)

Anyway, you got two of the three and after yours the responses ceased to
roll in (Spring is almost here...stop hibernating) so the answer is:
Carlton, Ruess (I thought he'd be the hard one), and Mike Torrez.

This leads to a follow-up trivia question:   Name the three players who
were also involved in the Mike Torrez deal when he left the Expos.
(Hint: it doesn't involve the Cardinals).  Let's hear it this time!!
