I *think* I remember someone posting a shell script or C program to
the net that allowed one to set DIFFERENT .exrc characteristics depending
on the sort of file that was bing edited.  Does anyone remember this
(or was it a product of my fevered imagination), and if so, could someone
repost it or mail it to me?
