1.  Well, Sonny Boy, when I was yer age, we usta fixem with a wet finger
    and a Volt-Ohmmeter!  A schematic was considered cheating!

2.  However, in my old age, I have become more decrepit, and, as I also
    have some similar old units, I would be most grateful if you could
