Lines: 17 Xref: watmath net.women:4421 net.singles:5820 I've thought the term for the SO in your life might be made more specific (depending on your level of commitment) by using "hubstitute" for the male-type person in question, and "wifish" for the female type. On a bad day, I have accepted the inverse of wifish with some justification. Anyway, I don't like using "lover" because it conjurs up pictures in some people's minds that you may not wish to conjur up (and you can never tell who thinks like this) and I'm not very interested in initials like SO (you have to explain them). Re marriage/commitment/etc. I'll get into this one day when I've figured out how to use the net better because my hubstitute and I are standing at a rather interesting cross-roads that may amuse some.
