The only two contenders I know of are VAXIMA for Franz Lisp, the availability of which is unclear, and Steve Wolfram's SMP written in (and generating) C, done originally at Cal Tech. Unfortunately SMP, which looks pretty nice, seems to be either unavailable or available only at a huge price. I would appreciate some clarification of the availability of either of these packages.
