Bob Stewart introduced me to one of the worst yet most enjoyable movies --

	"Star Crash"

From all appearances, the makers of "Star Crash" attempted to film a serious
movie. If you take it seriously, it is disgustingly bad. Quite a few folks
walked out after 5-10 minutes of melodramatic boredom. Even stars like
Christopher Plummer couldn't keep them in their seats.

However if you have been prepared to treat the movie as a comedy, look
forward to memorable merriment! We were soon laughing our heads off at
images of a clutching claw-shaped spacecraft and of torpedoes crashing
through spaceship windows to open and deliver barefaced boarding
parties. Some lines had us literally falling out of our seats and
figuratively rolling in the aisles:

"At night the temperature drops THOUSANDS of degrees"
"Imperial Battleship! Stop the Passage of Time!"

See "Star Crash" if you ever get a chance, and make sure that you treat it
as a comedy. Memories of it can still raise a laugh!
