Just a comment...

Someone (alas I've forgotten the name, sorry) on the net recently
stated several reasons why women shouldn't have to worry about
asking men out. The first reason was that "9 times out of 10
he'll ask you if he likes you." (Or something like that.)
T'ain't always the case...

I know that a lot of women that I've wanted to ask out, I haven't.
Reason? (And perhaps this is my fault for not pushing the
issue, but keep it in mind anyway!) It is very difficult these
days to tell whether or not that person has an SO! (And if I feel
that the women I'm interested in does, then I tend to leave her
alone because (a) I don't want to intrude and (b) if the situation
was reversed I wouldn't want an intruder.)

Last week I stated that my SO asked me out first. I was interested
in her for several monthes, but never asked her out because
a mutual friend said that he had seen her quite a bit with "a Warren
Baity typ" (Whatever the hell that means...) It turns out that
this was only a friend of hers, and we missed out on several monthes
of merry-making because of it.

Moral of the story? First, if you think someone that you are
interested in is interested in you: LET HIM/HER KNOW IN SOME WAY!
Second, never, but never, listen to other peoples rumourings!
