That was a response, posted as a commentary on a supposedly
hilarious base note whose humor completely escaped me. What
is this doing in net.jokes anyway? I guess I'm obligated to
close with a joke. Warning: One four-letter word.

A smut magazine held its annual dirty limerick contest one year.
For several years, the prize had been claimed by the same man --
a psychologist from Los Angeles with an incredibly filthy mind.
That year, however, he only placed second. He made an irate
telephone call to the editor.

"What's going on? Why didn't I win? That was my most disgusting
limerick ever!"

The editor replied, "Sorry, but you were outdone by a 70-year-old
librarian from Des Moines."

"Impossible!" sputtered the psychologist, "Let me hear it."

"Are you crazy? I can't read it over the phone. It's really
disgusting."

"Very well," said the psychologist, "censor the really disgusting
stuff. I just want to hear it."

The editor began:

"Da da da da da da da da,
Da da da da da da da da,
     Da da da da da
     Da da da da da,
Da da da da da da da fuck."
