Well, I have finally gotten all of my Dave Barry articles keyed in, and will
soon begin posting one each week to net.jokes. I have 14 of these articles,
two of which I have posted before, but I intend to post all of them in a
series, for those who are interested.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Dave Barry's work, he is a humorist
who writes essays on topics ranging from childbirth to roller-coasters to
personal computers. His pieces are generally a few hundred words (60 or 70
lines for you inveterate net-wits |-), and are good clean fun, though I
should warn you he is sometimes cynical, and *always* disrespectful.

Please: as I post these articles, if you have any commentary, either send
them to net.jokes.d or to me - I am not the author, however, and will not
reply to flames based on their content.

Two more things:

THING 1 - A question: if you know where Barry is writing these days, will
you please let me know? I'd be interested in subscribing to the publication.

THING 2 - A request: if anyone else has any of these gems tucked away, send
a photocopy and I'll key it in ( or *you* key it in and send it to the net!)

Thanks!
