_Red Dawn_ is a powerful movie about a band of teenagers who take
to the hills and become guerrillas after a communist invasion of
America.

It's *not* just a good ol' boys against the Reds flick. It is a
look at children becoming killers, forced to grow up far too
soon. There are some unforgettable scenes, and while there's
(obviously) considerable violence, there's not too much blood -
no lingering shots of people shot to pieces (such as in the Wild
Bunch). Nonetheless, its rated PG-13, and I agree. This is not
a movie young children should see without a parent. But it is a
movie everyone else should see, I highly recommend it.

On my scale, definitely a should-see.
