It's  because of timing.  The 200  product  came out a little  later and
they decided to bundle the Async package with the core product.  The 500
will  follow  suit  beginning  with the 4.0 release  this  summer.  (DGL
graphics is also bundled.)  If you are on support  service,  your update
will include Async.
