My immediate reaction to seeing Reagan's campaign appearances in Texas on
TV yesterday was that I had seen such rallys before . . . .
on newsreels from Germany in the 1930's. The demagogery, eloquent,
polished speech with no room for human reactions or feelings, and the
reaction of the crowd all were similar. At a teacher's conference in
Indiana this past fall, Ronald Wilson Reagan had the teachers cheering for
legislation that they strongly opposed, both individually and as an
organization.

If any of you notice a family resemblance of a Reagan campaign rally and
a Nazi war rally, I would urge you to invest a few minutes to call your
favorite TV station or the White House at (202) 456-1414. Ask them why
do Reagan's campaign apperances resemble Nazi war rallys from 1938 or 39.

P.S. For those of you who are more "superstitious," count the number of
letters in each of Reagan's 3 names and then tell me that they don't stand
for the number 029Ah.
