There are definitly several different suppliers of XT power supplies. Mine is made by ASTEC, a well-known supplier to Apple and IBM and others. I should point out that mine is a "genuine" XT power supply purchased from IBM. I would think it unlikely that some manufacturers' XT power supplys give problems with a PCII and not others, but anything's possible, I guess. Randy Cole -------
