Here is a somewhat different solution to the mathematical limerick:

                     ___
12 + 144 + 20  + 3 \/ 4   + 5(11)  = 9 x 9 + 0
------------------------
	   7


Twelve and its square, I was taught,
With twenty, and three root four, ought,
    If by seven you divide
    And then place by their side
Five elevens, to give nine nines plus nought.

(The scanning is a touch rough in the last line, but ya gotta admit, it's
different...)
