U.C. San Diego Lines: 16 Are there any tools to help those stuck with the problem of porting PL/1 programs to UNIX? In order of preference these would be . A portable PL/1 compiler (i.e., written in C or Fortran, with retargetable code generation) . A portable PL/1-lookalike compiler (i.e., written in C or Fortran, with retargetable code generation) . A PL/1 to C translator - or at least one which did a half-hearted job . An LALR grammer for PL/1 (if you have to start from scratch, one might as well use yacc!) Any information, especially including price, source availability, etc. would be appreciated. If there is enough interest I will post a summary to the net.
