I think DAK has been around at least 10 years. They started out as an independent manufacturer of blank open reel and cassette tapes, selling mostly through their mail order catalog. I have never ordered from them, but my brother once ordered a ``boom box'' sort of radio from them. He is pleased with it. I later saw the same item on sale somewhere for the same price as he paid, so they seem to price reasonably. Joe Ramey convex!smu!joe
