Subj; MUSICWORKS

I've just received my first issue of MUSICWORKS magazine. It's
a Canadian magazine devoted to contemporary music and related issues.
Comes in a newpaper-like format.

This issue is devoted to the work of James Tenny. Has 2 long
articles - 'A tradition of Experimentation - James Tenny in Conversation'
and 'John Cage and the theory of Harmony'. I found both articles
intelligent and worthwhile reading.

It also comes with a cassette, which hasn't arrived yet.

Individual issues are $2 ($6 with cassette). It comes out
quarterly. I've forgotten what I paid for a subscription and
strangley enough, that info isn't listed in this issue.

However, the address is MUSICWORKS, 30 St. Patrick St.,
Toronto, Ont., CANADA M5T 1V1. Phone is (416) 593-7088.

It also has some interesting ads, which I will post later.
