ABC is showing 180 hours of coverage, given the Olympics are 17 days, thats
an average of more than 10 hours a day.

As far as Howard is concerned, I agree, I would much prefer someone else.
However, it does keep bringing up the point the foreign competitors are
improving and getting much better.

In most cases, I want to watch Americans, however, I would also like
to see more competitions where Americans are not playing (there have
been a few, however).

Very understandable since ABC does all the coverage.  CBC, as well as
any other TV network/station, gets there feed from ABC.  However, they
chose which feed they want.
