From Tom O`Connor
>The whole image of Miss America, no matter how unrealistic
>some might believe it is, had been seriously tarnished. I
>could no longer say to my little sister "Wouldn`t you like
>to be like her?"

YEECCCCK!!!! if I had a little sister, the last thing I would tell her is:
"wouldn't you like to be like miss america?". I find that thought revolting,
even more revolting than the thought of her posing in pornographic pictures.
At least in pornography, there's no pretense, everybody knows that women are
considered to be pieces of meat; in beauty pageants they are but everybody
pretends to be really interested in them as persons too. I find the latter
("isn't she cute when she tries to dance?, look at the way her breasts jiggle!")
much more insulting than the former.
