C. Wheeler is just what is causing the problem Rich is talking about. The ignorance of the whole problem of preventing kids from adopting their own views and the refusal to accept it as a real problem prevents it from being solved. For this is just as much a day to day problem as diaper rash, perhaps even worse. Diaper rash disappears when the diapers are removed; emotional and intellectual values do not disappear when the child is removed from the home environment and placed in the 'real' world.
