That reminds me: in my Democratic precinct convention this May, we
passed a resolution calling for a plank in the platform to make 1985
the Year of the Bhagavad Gita.

How about getting 1988 for the Year of "The C Programming Language" (K&R).
That would be the tenth aniversary of the copyright.  But does it
deserve a whole year?
