P&CS Dept., Houston TX Lines: 5 The typical cause of the "lost clusters" is aborting a compile which is in progress, thus not giving the compiler a chance to "clean up" after itself. It isn't a big problem.... you could even do it in your AUTOEXEC file (I've never lost anything via a CHKDSK in 1 1/2 years on an XT).
