Come on people!

Sometimes I have a hard time believing that all the people on the net are
adults. I've swallowed hard and not replied in the past, but this garbage
about his joke before his radio broadcast has broken the proverbial camel's
back.
People, people, people. What is going on in your brains that you can't see
a joke for what it is? Reagan was about to go national radio, there were
technicians and so forth around and he cracked a little joke. So what? Would
there have been such an uproar if his statement hadn't made it on the air?
I doubt it.
Does anybody believe that Reagan was serious about what he said? Does anyone
believe that he would have even said this out loud if he was serious? For
those people that answered yes to these questions, do you believe in the
Easter Rabbit?
Last semester at school we coined a new word, "offensensitivity." It means
"an extreme lower threshold at what offends a person." It seems that this
problem is rampant on the net, or maybe only these people post articles.
For the record, I'm not a big fan of Reagan's. I am very unhappy with the
amount of money he spends on defense. In all likelihood I'll vote for
Mondale. My Democratic alignment however does not me foolish enough to
believe that Reagan wants kill hundreds of millions of people in the
Soviet Union. Geez!!
