	That explains system V.1 ar. And that wonderfull function left out
	of strip, adjusting archive symbol tables. Don't tell me they
	look carefully. Berkley got it right the first time, years ago.

They got it right years ago, eh?  How about that brain-damaged
Berkeley TTY driver--when will they get it right? (BTL's is much
better...)  They've both got warts, and both have different
applications.
