At the local University we have just got an 11/780 and will
be running Bsd4.2 on it in the future. We are looking for
(lowcost) graphics packages running under UNIX that could be
used in a computer graphics course to allow students to do
highly realistic shaded images, etc. What graphics packages
are out there that can be acquired by University's for
instructional purposes at low costs? We're novices at graphics,
nd don't know where to start or who to go to. Please post
replies to the net as I can't receive mail from Usenet at
my site.
