[for the fictitious line eater]

I've been reading net.singles sporadically for a couple of months
now and I am occasionally interested by the net.singles parties.
Are these things for real? How many people would attend one of
these cozy little net-togethers? I suppose that would all depend
on when, where, and how well advertized it was. But if these
parties truly occur and I get some positive comments about past
events, I might be coaxed into putting one on.

I co-own a large old summer house in Tannersville, NY, in the heart
of the Catskill mountains, about five miles from Hunter Mountain Ski
Area. It sits on about 35 acres with about 3-4 acres of it cleared.
There's about a quarter of a mile of driveway for parking cars.

I HAVE IN NO WAY VOLUNTEERED FOR PARTY DUTY. I described the setting
just to get some idea of the response I would get from a net-wide
invitation. Well folks, how about it?
