I'd be very happy to watch the available Hartnell and Troughton
(complete) serials in black and white, and I suspect that most
Dr. Who fans would agree.  If the choice is between not seeing the
serials at all and seeing them in B&W it seems pretty clear to me
what the fans would want.

I wonder where the attitude that B&W is such a "hard sell" comes
from.  There are a lot of old U.S. programs which are still very
popular (I Love Lucy, for example).  Perhaps if we put some pressure
on our PBS stations (and the BBC?) we could convince them otherwise.
