Maxwell is very impressed with Bo's demonstration. Maxwell wants to bring Bo into the organization so that he will have Bo to pass his empire onto. Barry was in jail for robbing a liquor store. Tess is trying to keep Barry away from Chris, but Barry insists that they go to dinner at Shenanigan's. They run into Chris there and Barry introduces himself as Barry Reed, Tess's husband. Chris is shocked, to say the least and he walks out of Shenanigan's. Tom Horton tells his wife Alice about the safety deposit key that Harold left in his possession. He also tells her that Harold has a heart condition and that he did not look good at all; very nervous and shaking, smoking excessively and drinking. Alice tells Larry that Hope is going to stay with she and Tom while Larry is away in New Orleans. They are going to arrange for Hope to meet with Bo that night after the art exhibit, before Bo has to go to New Orleans. Maxwell talks to Neil Curtis and reminds him that Neil owes Max a favor for the favor Max did for Neil, which was lending Neil the money to buy Blondie's when no other financial institution in Salem would. Of course, Max planned that so that Neil would owe Maxwell a favor. Doctors can come in handy when it is time to pay back a favor, one assumes. Chris goes back to Shenanigan's and Barry and Tess are still there. When Barry leaves to go to the restroom, Chris goes over to Tess's table and tells her that she could have told him that she was married and that he never wants her coming near him again. Tony tells Anna that he will back her dress design business with two million dollars if she can find another person who will back her for the same amount also. He is hedging his bet. Harold walks in on some thugs wrecking his place. They were sent by Maxwell's right hand man, Carl. When Harold walks in, the thugs punch him out and they leave. He dies of a heart condition. Blanche, Harold's wife, comes home a little later with Alice and they find Harold dead. Alice calls the paramedics and Tom, but it is too late. Alice and Tom take Blanche to stay at their house for a while. Bo meets with Hope at Tom and Alice's home before he has to go to New Orleans. Hope tells Bo that she will promise not to go to New Orleans, but she has her fingers crossed, and knowing Hope, she will find a way to get there. Bo does not want her in New Orleans because he does not want to be distracted while he is doing his investigative work and he also does not want Hope to be in any danger. Maxwell and Meagan receive a letter from their European colleagues telling them that the information they need to know about the crystal prism sculpture is in the floppy diskette, which is part of the art work labeled "Hacker #4". Little do they know that Harold replaced the original floppy that was on Hacker #4 with another floppy and he has the original floppy in his safety deposit box. Tom Horton has the safety deposit box key. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Marie Carey ...seismo!carey
