I received three replies via mail and bb to my inquiry about using the
imagewriter with a 50 cycle source, and a reply via telephone from APPLE.
Of the three electronic replies, there was a 'wishy-washy ok', a definitive
'no', and a note from someone who said he'd been trying to find out also.
A telephone call to our APPLE maccontact in NY resulted in her asking their
'technical' persons who said 'No problem. Be sure to use a stepdown
transformer with at least a 250 va rating for each the imagewriter and the
macintosh'.
