Having just watched and/or listened to this recently completed five game series between the Tigers and the Bosox (won by the Sox 3-2). A couple of thoughts go through my mind ...
     1. Detroit's starting pitching isn't too hot (the Sox scored 42 runs)
     2. Unless the starters can throw six or seven innings, Lopez's and Hernandez's arms are going to look like ground beef around Sept. 10.
