You haven't heard much from the gals who DO wear makeup because
much of this 'discussion' has been cracks at how wearing makeup
means you are lying, cheating, covering up your personality
inadequacies, and generally showing the world you have crass, shallow
values derived from the Bible as written by Mary Kay.

At least, this is the impression *I* have got.  If others have
the same impression, it's hardly likely they'll submit articles
saying 'yes, I wear makeup' so they can be pilloried on the net.

Why are so many of us being mean to each other?  Why can't we just
be nicer, politer, and more willing to give each other the benefit
of the doubt?  I for one am growing weary of reading attacks on
groups and individuals, and I normally enjoy net.singles a lot.
[Anyone who tells me to use the 'n' key will be sorry -- this is
not a threat, it's a PROMISE!  :-)]
