Subject: Backing up in 'more'

I see news presented on my screen using the "more" utility (under 4.2 BSD).
The documentation (manual page) for "more" mentions the use of the
"p" command and the "'" (single quote) for backing up and seeing what
has been presented before, but that this works only when "more" is
reading a file, not from a pipe. The latter seems to be the case in
readnews, as these commands don't work.

Is there any way to back up and see what has scrolled off the screen
when running readnews and "more", aside from doing a "q" and then a
"-" to back up to the previous item? I often just want to see the thing
that zipped off my screen four lines back, and not wade through the
preceeding "n" lines again to get there (at 1200 bps).

Advice solicited. Please post or mail.
