A fellow at the local AAMCO shop told me about one scenario where GM is
required to pay for the repair.  This is for GM Turbo 200 transmissions
that have less than 60000 miles on them.  Apparantly there were a large
number of failures in the 20K mile range, and the FTC or the DOT or some
other govt. agency got on GM's case about it.  GM agreed to do this, but
does not publicize it.  Trouble is, the Turbo 200 was largely installed
on passenger cars, and I've a hunch that you have a TH350, but it's
worth looking into it...
