I guess I can understand a little bit of subtle makeup, but WHY in the WORLD
do some people paint their eyelids blue or purple?? Gak! And then there
are those who don't paint them blue, but paint them BLUE. Blue skin?

I personally prefer women to wear no makeup at all. I don't see why moles
and birthmarks need to be covered; they are simply part of the person's
appearance and part of the person's uniqueness. Also, when you get close to
someone (physically) there are so many interesting details in the skin to
look at, unless they have been plastered over and painted. (Almost like a
landscape, you know, how at different distances your eye picks up different
levels of detail?)

And, if you're close enough to no longer focus on these interesting details,
then the stuff *feels* funny.
