Center, Univ. of Texas at Austin Lines: 16 There is nothing sacred about model releases used by photographers. The ones I've seen are standard forms from magazines or newspapers. In fact many how to photography books have samples in the back that can be xeroxed and used. All you models out there: Make up your own model release with any clause you want to protect yourselves (i.e. expiration date). Have a lawyer look at it if it makes you feel better. Then insist the photographer uses it instead of his/her own. I can't see any jection an honest photographer would have. My dad is a semi-professional photographer who often uses releases, thats where I've seen them before> Jim Garey ut-ngp!garey
