Lines: 19 I've been asked out twice by women in the past. One was a fairly "safe" proposition. "I'm having a small party would you like to come" was the type of approach made.Joyce left herself an "out" by waiting for my acceptance and then clarifying that it was a "personal" invitation [ie don't dare bring a guest] The only other time was at an office Christmas party and it was common knowledge in the department that I would be leaving just after New Year. So this was a now-or-never situation . In both cases I accepted, I don't know how I would have handled rejecting either advance but I have found people who can handle comnpliments gracefully can usually get through most situations and I feel ready and able to handle compliments(as infrequently as they come). -- Dave Peak (pyuxhh!dxp) Ye Gods and little fishes !!!!!!!!!!!!!
