I don't get Marvel Age and hence have not read all those letters of praise
regarding Secret Wars (I may make an exception though, just for a laugh).
I have, however, gotten a good feel for the content though, judging by the 
indignation expressed by some net folk.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned yet *another* aspect of the overall
"Shooter stroke job".....How about those little blurbs of praise/plugs in
some lettercols courtesy of the editors?  Talk about unabashed whoring of
one's self!  How can experienced editors actually be serious in praising
without reservation the writing job the Shootster's cranking out on SW??!
Oh well, *I* haven't really been all that critical of the whole shootin'
match (pun intended) all along--in spite of its shortcomings for the 
more experienced reader, it's almost required reading for continuity's
sake and I'm not really *that* turned off by the series.

Look at the bright side--it's almost over.
