If you're interested in past discussions in this area I suggest you retrieve and peruse the archives for this list as well as MsgGroup. It's not possible, using the current in place methods for delivering netmail to prevent any such unauthenticated and/or unauthorized mangling of message headers. I would even go so far as to say that if I had an an account on your system (without the ability to exercise privilege) I could still edit the From: line of a message. You should always regard every message as a potential forgery, since the ability to perpetrate a forgery is no great act of chicanery. g
