I'm sick of hearing abusive articles about ABC's coverage.
Sure it may have appeared bias. The TV should cover the best athletes
and the gold winners. Sorry if most of them happened to be americans.
I know i would have been pretty pissed if I was watching some Belgian
equestrian run and was missing an american wrestling. Sorry, but I was
rooting for the home team, I wanted coverage. Don't get me wrong, ABC
really turned my stomach woth some of it's approaches, and quite frankly,
some of it was TOO american. BUT! if you're going to televise something
for more than two weeks and for almost 12 hours a day, there will be
inconsistencies. These americans trained just as hard as someone else
so, being american and watching it on american TV, I want to know how
they're doing. I did not want to know, however, anything about a
spaceship, an alien or 500 breakdancers at the closing ceremonies.
L.A. did look beautiful, everything went fine and I for one was very
impressed with the coverage. American TV for Americans. No, I'm not
republican. I think it turned out so well, people just started looking
for chinks in the armor. Keep looking and you'll find sour grapes, too.

P.S. Jim McKay should be put to sleep though.
