The evidence presented seemed to indicate that the FBI men did indeed
suggest (in their role as drug smugglers) that bad things would happen if
DeLorean were to pull out.  In a situation like a large-scale drug deal, that
would be interpreted as a death threat by many normal and reasonable people.

If indeed such a suggestion was made, then the need to make it suggests that
DeLorean wanted out before the deal went over, but was afraid for his life.
UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES A REASONABLE DOUBT EXISTS as to whether DeLorean
willingly violated the law.  ``Willingly'' means, among other things, that
he didn't feel that the consequences would jepeordize his own life.

If indeed there is ``blame'' to be placed for the aquittal, it lies with
the investigators, and not with the judicial system.
