Thank you, Steve. It is true. I did not say that sex was everything,
I merely said that makeup and sex were incompatible. In fact,
I do sometimes think of other things besides sex. I often have a spare 20
minutes or so, between sessions, and I will dab on a little eyeliner and
play backgammon, or something. :-)

I don't believe that someone who likes to wear makeup (whether or not their
best feature is their looks) is necessarily vain. And I don't believe that
people who wear makeup necessarily think their best best feature is their
looks. I have to disagree, quite strongly, with Jeff Forys' implications that
someone who wears makeup is putting up a phony front. I don't see it as being
any different than being well-dressed.

Well, we all have our different taste in clothing, beards (I love 'em!) and
makeup but these inferences of bad character based on taste in dress/adornment
-- no matter how it was acquired -- are going too far.
