{ Video Killed the radio star... }

MTV edits the videos very well and will not play the really nasty ones.
They editted David Bowie's bottom out of "China Girl" and I have never
seen any really savagely violent videos on MTV.

One of the cable networks has a video show where they proclaim that they
show uneditted videos. It's one of those mostly-movie networks like HBO
or showtime, which means even if you can't get MTV, you can still get
videos and these are the ones that you get to see.

As much as I tend to dislike MTV, especially since they sleazed this
"exclusivity agreement" with a few of the record companies, I have to
give them snaps for their consistant use of good taste; they know who
their audience is and they know how to reach them.
