In general, I like the idea of secret messages in records -- it gives me
a 60's nostalgia rush.  However, I am disturbed by the ambiguous
Christian symbolism in Prince's albums.  I guess he has to compete with
Michael Jackson in the obscure religion area, but I would prefer to
retain my image of him as a role model for decandence and hedonism, if
not Minnesota urban nihilism.  You didn't mention the "hahahaha" at the
end of the Purple Rain secret message -- maybe it's all a joke.

P.S. I'm sure everyone has noticed the "Love God" message in the "When
Doves Cry" video.
