I am currently shopping for a 300 ZX. Although I have driven
for over 20 years, I have limited expertise buying cars and
analyzing performance specs. I have a 5-year old 280 ZX which
I have been completely satisfied with. It has enough power to
suit me and I like its looks. These are the same reasons I am
attracted to the 300.
I really do need a little guidance on this one - it carries a
pretty high price tag.
In particular I am trying to justify the purchase of the 50th
anniversary model as opposed to the vanilla model. For $9000
more, I'm not quite sure what is being offered.
Turbo or non-Turbo? What advantages/disadvantages do I get with
the Turbo package. Can I expect the same power that I get with
my non-Turbo 1979 280 ZX?

If any of you own a 300 ZX, I would like to hear about your
experiences. And if anyone has information or advice for me
before I make my final decision I would be very grateful.
