I tried getting info on optical character readers (no responses), so let's
try something else. [Nobody on the net must have an OCR].
(If you didn't read the earlier posting and are interested, send me mail).

My management wants to purchase a color projection monitor TV for our
training room.  It will be used to show Umatic video tapes and video
out from CRTs.  It requires a flat forward projection mechanism, and
must project with in 34 foot distance to no more than 8'x8'.  Color, of course.
I have heard the technology has not developed enough to get a bright enough
picture.  I have a list of several manufacturers from IEEE Computer
Graphics.  If there is enough response, I will summarize to the net.  Thanks
in advance.
