I believe Symphony No. 1 is available on 99 Records (a local New York label).
He also played with a band called Theoretical Girls.  The B-side of their
"U.S. Millie" single was called "You Got Me", a harsh, dissonant, thrashing
song (recorded long before there WAS such a thing as "thrashing" as so-called
punks now know it), with very intense rhythms and dissonant guitar.  The single
is probably very hard to find, though Bleecker Bob's in Greenwich Village, NYC
might have it.  Symphony No. 1 by Glenn Branca should be available through
most mail order record establishments that carry 99 Records.

[My apologies to those who don't think discussion of such things belongs in
 net.music.classical.  I *told* you there were some artists/musics that just
 defied rigid pigeonholing.]
