As part of the Ontario Science Centre's summer show, THE
ARTIST AS A YOUNG MACHINE, there will be two presentations
in the auditorium over the next couple of weeks.

HAROLD COHEN is perhaps the only artist in the world using
artificial intelligence techniques in writing art-generating
programs. Hear his ideas at the Centre next Monday, August 6,
where he will give a presentation ARTIFICIAL SMARTS AND THE ARTS,
at 2:00 p.m.

LORIN HOLLANDER, international concert pianist and lecturer,
will speak on the union of art and science as a solution for
today's challenges, in an hour-long audio visual presentation
sponsored by the Texas Cultural Alliance on August 13, at 2:30 p.m.
