>Reagan is grossly insensitive to the fact that most Americans do not
>see this as a laughing matter.

I was not aware that most Americans had lost their sense of humor.
What happened? Did I miss something? Why was I excused? Or spared?
I still seem to have mine(humor that is).

>Yet millions of glassy-eyed zombots will vote for Reagan again!

What do we have here? Another attack on half the human population?
I think its best I obstain from getting involved in this one(this time).

And people wonder why I have little to do with politics! Its because I
can see nothing more silly than to run an election by attempting to
discredit one's opponent. Anything goes. By both sides. It borders on
the ridiculous at times. But I guess when one runs a popularity contest,
that is what must be done. Where are the discussions on the issues?
Obviously they are unimportant. The American public is not given
enough credit for intelligence to be concerned about such matters.
Like I said, I will not waste my time being concerned about politics.
To me its one big farce, joke, call it what you may. I find the whole
process humorous.

Robert

PS: How many people out there don't ever utter humorous little comments
under their breath when the situation is right? I do it all the time.
Otherwise life could get rather dull with nothing to smile about.
