Seems one of the most avid participants in the traditional "April Fool"
joke is the BBC.  On their April 1 morning radio programs, invariably
something outlandish is inserted among the legitimate news items and
announcements.  Recalling that these are being heard by persons not
yet quite awake:

>	A decision has been made to convert Big Ben to digital format.

or

>	A search party is being raised to locate the iceberg that
	sank the Titanic.

There are others I can't remember at the moment; if I recall more
or find my source of reference, I'll post them.
