Lines: 32 "I love the smell of napalm in the morning." But not when it's all over me. I stand before you a charred and burned out cinder, and a thorughly chastised one at that. I would like to issue an apology to any and all fellow US citizens who were embarrased and shamed by my needlessly harsh rebuke of Mr. London. For whatever explantions and excuses are worth after a deed has been done, I would like to point out that Mr. London's attack on the people of the US enraged me (in case you hadn't figured that out already). I acted in haste and anger when I should have cooled off before replying to the original article. I would also like to point out that my original posting on this subject was at least partly tounge-in-cheek. I do not really believe that undying loyalty to this country is a prerequisite for staying here. Nor do I beleave that Mr. London should be deported for his opinions (although he seems to have over looked the fact that the american people are the ones defending his right to hold such opinions in this country). Once again, I would like to apologize to my fellow US citizens. I will not, however, apologize to Mr. London as he is still unrepentant in his opinion that the vast majority of Americans are hypocrits and poor sportsmen. Perhaps he would change his mind if he put aside his hatred long enough to get to know us better (assuming he didn't run into anyone like me whose behavior would only serve to reinforce his original opinion) instead of judging us by the actions of one of our TV networks. America, love it or ...stay awhile and see if you can at least like it. DW @ ...!ihnp4!tellab1!heahd
