[hello there]

I am looking for information on object oriented programming and
related langauges. I participated in an experimental class while
attending Ohio University in which we attempted to develop a very
small version of smalltalk80 for a DEC lsi 11/02. However, the only
material we had on object oriented langauges (OOL) was an issue
of BYTE magazine. I later discovered that Smalltalk 80 was more or less
a child of lisp, and our approach was entirely wrong. What I really
want is material that discusses OOLs apart for the Smalltalk 80
environment and really digs into the basics of OOLs. I hope to relay
this information to a friend at OU who wants to try it again. I am
also sending him a copy of XLISP, the poor fellow is not on the net.

	Thanks in advance,
	George William Erhart
