Good grief... There are lots of reasons I can think of to wear makeup,
even though I don't wear any, myself!  :-)  Few of them have anything
to do with being artificial or making up for a weak ego.  It can be
a means of self-expression or self-appreciation.

It is an individual thing; some faces look better than others with
makeup; makeup can be both a bother and an expense.  People's tastes
differ.  Generally the women I'm attracted to don't wear much, if any,
makeup.  But there have been exceptions--I certainly don't feel that
wearing makeup, per se, says anything bad about a person.
