I ordered a small LCD quartz alarm clock a while back. It came with some
cryptic instructions that I saved because I thought they were funny. This
is one of the paragraphs under the heading "ALARM SETTING":

"When the normal time and the armed alram (sic) time are
identical, the alarm sounds out right after a 'beep'
sound which will to (sic) remain activated for 30 seconds
	 unless S1 is pressed."

The alarm does work, my question is

"How do I make it 'beep'?"

It's a mystery, it's a mystery of thought and think about it.
