Chicago: Astronomy & Astrophysics Lines: 14 ***** I heard that the Koreans want at least $750 million from ABC for the rights to the 1988 Olympics, which supposedly means ABC would have to broadcast Olympics coverage around the clock just to break even. Therefore, we may have just seen our last "free" Olympics (ie, on to cable). (Note this doesn't affect the winter games in Calgary -- though ABC's stock dropped several points last winter when it was announced they had broadcasting rights those games as well). Trisha What I want to know is when is badminton going to be an Olympic event!
