Now, now. There were no screams from Reston (no, I didn't move! :-) ). I may
be "eternally" bearded, but I keep it in good shape, by trimming it often. In
fact, caring for a beard is almost as much hassle as shaving every day. And
I used to do that, too! My beard is just as naturally curly as my hair, so I
can't afford to let it grow too long. Also, I have to do a massive trim back
every time I get a haircut so that my face doesn't look so long. Not to mention
that it is much easier to keep a medium length beard clean than a long one. I
also have to keep the moustache trimmed back from my mouth, to keep things
from getting caught in it when I eat and drink!

There are no screams from me, Jeff. I've often given thought to shaving this
stuff off, because it's so difficult to maintain, and because it makes me look
older. Trouble is, if I shaved it off, no one would recognize me. Hmmmm.....
