'Defuse', one of the games from the 'wumpus' collection on a local system
here on Long Island, has been bothering me. The object of the game is to
locate a bomb in a building with 1,000,000 rooms (100x100x100).
The game starts you out in room 0,0,0 and gives you a number ranging anywhere
from 0000.00 to 9999.99 (10,000 would mean you had found the bomb) from some
bomb-finder gadget. What is bothering me is that there is a way to find
out where the bomb is on the first move! Enclosed is a sample of the
results of the game....I would greatly appreciate if somebody could
take a look at the numbers and find some corelation between the first column
and the second. Send me mail (piggott@bnl) if you find a relationship
in even two of the sets....Thanks a million....
