View, CA Lines: 18 [] I tried getting info on optical character readers (no responses), so let's try something else. [Nobody on the net must have an OCR]. (If you didn't read the earlier posting and are interested, send me mail). My management wants to purchase a color projection monitor TV for our training room. It will be used to show Umatic video tapes and video out from CRTs. It requires a flat forward projection mechanism, and must project with in 34 foot distance to no more than 8'x8'. Color, of course. I have heard the technology has not developed enough to get a bright enough picture. I have a list of several manufacturers from IEEE Computer Graphics. If there is enough response, I will summarize to the net. Thanks in advance. --eugene miya {hplabs,hao,menlo70,dual}!ames!aurora!eugene emiya@ames-vmsb.ARPA
