How did this stuff get into net.jokes, anyway?  But I can't help but
adding that, if you paid any attention to what was going on, you found
out that ABC also provided about 1500 hours of uncommented coverage
of almost everything that happened during the Olympics to all the
competing countries to do with as they wished.  It's quite possible
that on Ivory Coast television not a single American appeared for the
entire two weeks.

Sure ABC's coverage was disgusting sometimes (did you hear Cathy Rigby?),
but overall I think they did a superlative job of what is undoubtably
a very difficult undertaking.
