Re:Analysis of categorical data.
Does anybody know where I might find a program called PLUM?
It's used for analysing categorical data with an ordinal
response variable ,and fits (I hope) the model

      logit(F )=a -X B, j=1,....,k-1, i=1,....,N
            ij j i

where F =P[T <=t ],where T is some latent response variable.
       ij i j i

Apparently it does this in a GLIM type environment using
iteratively reweighted least-squares.

If you haven't heard of PLUM,do you know the name and location
of any other program which would do something similar?
Thanks.
