You can't have it both ways, folks.  One one hand people scream
up and down about freedom of the net, and people's right to the net,
and on the other hand they yell when somebody posts advertising.

Now the programming system ad did go in some wrong groups, but I
also read a fair bit of "advertising doesn't belong on the net."

Just remember when you advocate an anarchy net with everybody having
a "right" to post, there is a price.  You can't say that it's acceptable
for people to spew their opinions about abortion, but deny them the
right to toot their horns about their own achievements!

Last time I suggested a poster-pays system of news, I was royally
shouted down.  So if you did, you can't even complain about advertisers
using other people's resources to post their ads.  They haven't even
been given the opportunity to pay.

Of course, if it's EVIL to make money and try and sell your work, I
heartily suggest you quit your job now.
