Oh please, let's not rehash THIS issue again!

If you're interested in past discussions in this area I suggest
you retrieve and peruse the archives for this list as well as
MsgGroup.

It's not possible, using the current in place methods for
delivering netmail to prevent any such unauthenticated and/or
unauthorized mangling of message headers.  I would even go so far
as to say that if I had an an account on your system (without the
ability to exercise privilege) I could still edit the From: line
of a message.

You should always regard every message as a potential forgery,
since the ability to perpetrate a forgery is no great act of
chicanery.
