Co., Everett, WA Lines: 20I am looking for some answers to technical question about extending Commodore BASIC. My specific need is for the Commodore 64, but I bet there are PET owners out there who have the answer too. I know BASIC can be extended. You have to provide a new jump table pointing to your extensions, and intercept the startup code so it points to the new table (plus adding the extra code itself of course). The commodore 64 even has some pointers to that sort of thing you can change. Does anybody know EXACTLY what must be done? I know about intercepting the CHRGET routine. Thats not what I want to do. If you can help, pleasw write or post. Thanks, as they say, in advance. -- Kurt Guntheroth John Fluke Mfg. Co., Inc. {uw-beaver,decvax!microsof,ucbvax!lbl-csam,allegra,ssc-vax}!fluke!kurt
