I want to interface a normal apple II type joystick. 2) Does anyone know if/how to interface an apple disk ][ to the apple //c? I know that the connector is different, but is it possable to make a cable to connect the two. I have an spare disk ][ I am not using. 3) Does anyone know the memory address used to toggle the $400-$7ff bank of ram back and forth so I can write the screen directly? 4) Does anyone know the pinout on the serial ports? I don't want to spend what apple wants for a $1 connector. What about the interface itself? I would assume that apple used the 6551 ACIA. Does anyone know where they are mapped (both modem and printer)? How does apple expect the printer to handshake (^S/^Q or 5 wire serial)? I am trying to modify a VT52/H19 emulator to work on the //c.
