The League office has got to get tough on this use of close and hiting pitches. This can only lead to the crippling or death of a player. No one knows what it feels like to have a 90+ mph baseball going for one's body without catually being in that spot. I think it should be a judgement call by the umpire. If he feels it to be intentional then let's have mandatory suspension and/or 10,000 dollar fine. A beanball can end a career..it can end a life. Let's get serious and just playball!
