We need some help with our new Eagle drives that we just got.
We are running 4.2BSD on a vax 11/750 with the Eagles on the massbus.
The controller is an Emulex SC750/B1.

The problem we are having is when I go to format the disk, the formatter
tells me the following:

          Device data: #cylinders=559, #tracks=14, #sectors=31

I know that is not the case. It should be 842,20,44.

We have already configured the controller to emulate a rm02 logical drive.
We have called our suppliers and they say that the factory set-up is ok.

Prior to this we were running CDC Winchesters (9730, I think) and we had
no problems.

Any suggestions as to what I should do? Do I need to change something in the
kernel? Are there some tables somewhere that I need to change? The instal-
lation guide indicates that 4.2BSD will support Eagles, and the format program
claims the ability to format Eagles.

I'm lost! HELP!
