I have used two boxes of Memorex disks with no troubles whatsoever.  I have
a third box I haven't opened yet.  The advantage of Memorex disks is that
they are cheap (I got them for $39.95/box of ten).  At that price, I suppose
even a bad one or two would be worth the money, but that hasn't happened
to me yet.  Maybe there was an early manufacturing problem.  The first
note to that effect on this list was well before I bought mine.
