Message-ID: <799@sri-arpa.UUCP> Date: Mon, 6-Aug-84 10:02:13 EDT Article-I.D.: sri-arpa.799 Posted: Mon Aug 6 10:02:13 1984 Date-Received: Thu, 9-Aug-84 00:45:45 EDT Lines: 19 ^Q to unlock I/F. With hardware handshake make sure DTR and DCD are high as required by CIT-101e(see manual for required lines). Check Okidata for RS-232 pinout. Some printers do not raise the right RS-232 line, and the cable must be rewired to make the terminal happy. The largest problem I have seen is a printer with hardware handshake and the terminal with X/on X/off handshake. Some characters are lost because the X/off signal is not fast enough to respond to the hardware signal. good luck mlsmith@NADC.ARPA
