Lines: 10 Probably the best source of good wine recommendations is the California Grapevine. I have tried a number of publications including the Connoisseur's Guide to California Wine and Les Amis du Vin, but have found the Grapevine to be the best. Each issue features the results of a number of tastings of a range of varietals or possibly wines from the various regions of Europe (e.g. Burgundy, Bordeaux, Germany, Italy...). Next month's issue will include tasting notes on the newest releases of Cab Sav, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. In general, the Grapevine is an excellent source for the serious wine drinker. (P.O.
