... or for that matter, plain != grubby.
I think that a problem with this discussion is that some people feel
that "plain" implies "not fancy" (ok)
which implies "not tidy or clean" (wrong!)
which implies "unattractive". If you really think that a person's
clothes reflect on their personality, make sure you classify properly:
"fancy", "grubby" or "practical" (or ...).
