I feel that I can make an unusual contribution to the long and windy debate
as to whether taxation is theft. The word theft means the taking of another
person's property without his permission and *usually* *secretly*. (That
dictionary I bought has finally proved its usefulness.) Therefore,
taxation is *not* theft. The correct word is "robbery".

We should always choose our words carefully.
