This is in reply to my own query about letter-quality printers
for the Macintosh. Since I wrote my article, I learned
1) 47th St. Photo offers a cable to hook up the Mac to a
   Brother printer. The adapter costs about $100. I know
   nothing about it.
2) TTX Incorporated, 3420 East Third Ave., Foster City, 
   CA 94404   (415) 341-1300, sells a daisy wheel printer
   (claiming 12 cps at 10 pitch) and an adapter for the
   Macintosh. I have not seen it in action and have no idea how
   good it is.
