Sounds like rsk the Wombat is still sore because no Purdue players were invited to the trials (even though Purdue coach Gene Keady was one of those involved in the selection process, and even though no Purdue players were chosen in the NBA draft within the first 72 selections). Bob Knight has nothing left to prove. He has already demonstrated that he can win with people like Jordan, Perkins and Tisdale playing AGAINST him as well as FOR him. An Italian basketball expert was quoted in Sports Illustrated (before the Olympics, of course) as saying this was the WEAKEST U.S. team ever! The reason? Look at all the people who didn't try out for the team: Sam Bowie, Mel Turpin, Keith Lee.... I suspect we won't appreciate what Bob Knight has accomplished until the next Olympics. -- [This is my bugkiller line.
