From the New York Times - July 8, 1984
(So I didn't get to post it right away. It's probably >OLD< news)

A coalation of St. Paul arts groups is going to raise $1.5 million
to renovate the 74-year old World Theatre.
Engineers have pronounced the building structurally sound.

No date was mentioned, just a lot of background about the show.

I hope we get a LIVE show this weekend (August 4th)?
The old shows are fun too, but I've heard some of them.

P.S. A quote from Keillor -

"I never identified myself as a folk hero and I doubt
that any of the folk did, either."
