Of course you'll need a special cable (as if there were such a thing as a standard RS-232 cable). Use the pinouts found in macTEP, but swap pins 2 & 3 on the DB-25 side. You might also have to connect pin 2 (+5v) on the DB-9 to pin 6 (Data Set Ready) on the DB-25.
