gee, it's been a l o n g time...

When I was younger (jr. high, high school) my two older sisters and mom
tried to get me to use makeup, wear pantyhose, and get my hair permed.
The main reason that I didn't want to do these things is that *it wasn't
me*. Other important reasons was that due to my sebum type and *generous*
oil production, even non-alergentic makeup interfered with pore action.
Pantyhose made my legs itch, no matter what it was made of, and looked
unatural. The perm smelled terrible, lasted about 24 hours dispite several
sessions with the curlers & curling iron, and just wasn't suited for someone
with baby-fine hair (read that NOOOOOO BODY!)

But as I said, all these things are not me, and are uncomfortable. When
I go to job interviews, I take care that my general and oral hygiene is
taken care of, my hair is brushed to make it look 'full', and that my
eyebrows are plucked neatly. That is who I am, and I'm not going to give
them some false impression.

We haven't heard much from the gals that *do* wear makeup. What do you
say, ladies?
