	Rings of teleportation are *always* cursed when you find them; you
	may read a Remove Curse scroll to cure this.  I believe that teleport
	you randomly about a level every 1dN turns, and I think N is on the
	order of 20.

	You either (a) step on it with a full pack, so that you can't pick it
	up, or (b) pick it up, and drop it when you need it...but don't move
	off it until you're sure you've killed all the beasties!
