In response to some questions on the net lately about finding

a good RS 232 interface... I came across this ad yesterday..

On page 93 of the JULY issue of RUN magazine is :

From the photo, this device appears to have a small DC to DC

converter by MOSTEK on the card to generate the +/- 12V sources.

This product appears to have been built the right way.
