But I for one (and I'm sure also the vast majority of USENET readers who read this article) are fucking sick and tired of getting articles titled "Orphaned Response" which we automatically retitle "generic bullshit". If you are going to plug a system (which may or may not be better than 'readnews'), let's make people aware of its flaws as well. Find a better way of dealing with responses whose base note has not yet arrived, and then maybe I'll join you in touting notes.
