Hi,
What are user's experiences or technical opinions regarding the
new Kennedy 9400, the STC 2920 (Avalanche) and other 6250bpi tape drives in
their class ?
The Kennedy is tri-density, vacuum column and 45ips (at 6250bpi)
while the STC is only dual density, tension arm and 50ips. I also hear that
the construction of the STC has more modern electronics. Both are around $13K
with Unibus controller.

					Cheers,
