Message-ID: <340@hogpc.UUCP> Date: Wed, 15-Feb-84 23:26:43 EST Article-I.D.: hogpc.340 Posted: Wed Feb 15 23:26:43 1984 Date-Received: Fri, 17-Feb-84 02:37:13 EST Lines: 20 I just bought a VCR (GE 4012 4-head). I plan to use it for a "typical" mix of off-air recording/playback and playing rental tapes. Question: Is a service agreement worthwhile? Crazy Eddie (whose service dept. is relatively competent) will cover me for $70/1 year, $150/2 years. This would cover parts and labor AND unlimited tune-ups. I figure the service agreement would be worthwhile if I'll need one tune-up a year, since a tune-up would cost at least $50 and the agreement covers repairs as well. How often would I normally need a tune-up? Please respond by mail, and I'll summarize responses to the net. Thanks --Bruce Burger AT&T-Information Systems Lincroft, NJ ihnp4!hogpc!btb
