	I agree that the game is not played as a real basketball
game, but I would rather watch an NBA All-Star game any time over
a regular season NBA game. Reason: Let's face it, you can throw
away the first 3 quarters of any pro game. The 4th quarter is the only
excitement that the game brings. In a regular season game maybe,
I say maybe, you'll see 5 spectacular plays in the first three
quarters (e.g. slam drunk, twisting lay-up). To me, this is
just wasting my time. I'd rather tune in on the end of the game.
Now, even though the All-Star game is like a pick up game, at
least the fans can see many more spectacular shots then they
would in regular season game. I'll watch the first 3 Q's of a
All-Star Game, but I won't watch the first three quarters of
a regular season game (unless I use it as a night light). That's
my own stinking opinion.
