Message-ID: <553@ihuxn.UUCP> Date: Sat, 18-Feb-84 20:25:00 EST Article-I.D.: ihuxn.553 Posted: Sat Feb 18 20:25:00 1984 Date-Received: Sun, 19-Feb-84 08:02:50 EST Organization: AT&T Bell Labs, Naperville, IL Lines: 21 I am developing software for the Apple II/II+/IIe and I have an old revision 4 Apple II+ (1980) I am interested in getting a mouse to make a Mac-like, icon-based menu system. Reports say that Apple is coming out with a mouse and accompanying software for the II family (MouseDraw, or something) There is a connector on the back of the IIe that looks suspiciously like the Macintosh's mouse connector. Ten to one the mouse plugs in there. But -- I only have a traditional joystick connector... Is it possible for me to get a Mouse? Do I need any special adapters? How does software read it - like a joystick? Thanks in advance. -- Jonathan Dubman - care of: Mort Dubman AT&T Bell Laboratories ihnp4!ihuxn!mort Naperville, IL.
