Lines: 17 I recently bought a pinball machine (Bally's Space Invaders) and was suprised to find that the thing is controlled by a 6800 MPU chip. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I am considering rewriting the ROM program. The only problem is that disassembled code is pretty tough to crack sometimes, so I really don't know where to start. I have a SWTPC 6800 system, and I [kknow 6800 machine code, so that's not a problem. Has anyone tried anything like this before? I have seen video games with 'aftermarket' ROM chips in them to make them harder (Galza, Pac-Man (ick)) so someone out there has done it. How? --- Overall there is a smell of fried onions.
