It appears that L80 does a disk reset and relogs the disk every time it accesses a new REL file. This becomes very time consuming when you have a hard disk with a large directory since it must regenerate the allocation map every time it resets the disk. Is there a patch to modify this behavior? It seems that all the disk relogging is unnecessary and could be patched out. George (Eldridge.es@PARC-MAXC.ARPA)
