Mothers are like that sometimes, aren't they?

My most used cookbook is Julie Jordan's Wings Of Life.  It's a
veggie cookbook with some WONDERFUL recipies for bread (whole wheat,
or more exotic flours, of course), good pasta recipies, things to do
with that strange collection of vegetables in the bottom fridge
drawer, etc.  She believes in cheese, eggs, milk, and butter, so
it's not totally non-animal-product veggie. 

I don't often use cookbooks, but when I do, this is the first one I
turn to.
