This is a request for info/help from anyone who has done what
I am wanting to do. I want to replace one of the 5 1/4"
floppy drives in my home-brew CP/M system with a 5 1/4" hard
disk drive. I currently have two Tandon double-sided, double-
density drives connected to a controller board based around a
6502 processor.

Are there any hard disksaround that can be "dropped in" as a
direct replacement for the floppy?? If not, what is the
"path of least resistance" for accomplishing this task? (perhaps
I should just start over.)

Also, how much will this cost? Any good connections for obtaining
said hard disk? I recall someone with "Hard Disk Fever" that
posted some stuff a few months back; I'm trying to catch it and
seek any help you may offer.

Thanks

Harold Noyes
