The RSTS/E backup format is highly compressed, with long block
lengths.  Also, filenames are encoded in an internal format.
Your best bet is to dump the tape on a RSTS system and copy
the files, using PIP, to an ANSI or DOS tape.  These are
relatively easy to read on Unix.
