A few weeks back, somebody asked for a list of states where auxiliary
driving lights are illegal.  Just by chance, I ran across the answer
and thought I'd post it in case the poster still needs to know:

According to an article in Mechanix Illustrated (8/82), auxiliary
driving lights are illegal in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.
