I did a lot of comparisons (as a random consumer) on speakers recently;
I found Bose speakers to be far and away the most acceptable to me.  As
a matter of fact, the only speakers that I found which I liked better than
the Bose 601 model II set were the 901s.

Now I DO know that, some years ago, when the Bose line was first introduced
it was poo-pooed for its lack of crisp response.  but this was long ago-
I'd like to know, is the above comment a result of that old stigma ?
