I bought two Anchor Mark XII 1200 baud modems to check out and found
they are incapable of sending a 'break'!  A call to Anchor Automation
confirmed this.  Their response: "your the 1900th caller asking about
this.  We didn't include that capability in order to keep the costs
down."  If you can live without  being  able to send a break, its a
good modem for the money.
