Message-ID: <6932@watmath.UUCP> Date: Fri, 17-Feb-84 11:55:28 EST Article-I.D.: watmath.6932 Posted: Fri Feb 17 11:55:28 1984 Date-Received: Sat, 18-Feb-84 02:20:09 EST Organization: U of Waterloo, Ontario Lines: 11 Even if the claim that men are "more visual when it comes to masturbation" is true (and I have no reason to dispute it), I don't see how this explains the existence of violent pornography. I should think images of a man being lovingly stripped, massaged and fellated would be just as arousing as images of a man breaking into some woman's apartment and forcing her to fellate him (for example). The former does not seem demeaning to either party concerned while the latter makes the woman into a helpless victim and the man into a repulsive criminal. --Judy McMullan ...!{allegra|decvax}!watmath!jamcmullan
