I realize I am going to get many flames for this opinion, but let them come. One of the things that I think is so fantastic about this show is that it does change. Each doctor has been very different, companions have come and gone, every thing changes. This is, as mentioned, something very special in the doctor. Thus, getting rid of the old police box will be different, but will also open up new ranges of possibility. Who knows what it will wind up as? (No pun intended) Contact Has Been Made, Andrew Garrett
