-----------------------------
That's bizzare! Larry Bickford posts the header of article of mine,
and the date of posting in that header is FORTEEN DAYS later than the
day I actually posted it.

This is what Larry received:

Message-ID: <1640@randvax.ARPA>
Date: Sun, 5-Feb-84 21:40:39 PST
Article-I.D.: randvax.1640
Posted: Sun Feb 5 21:40:39 1984
Date-Received: Fri, 27-Jan-84 18:30:47 PST

And this is what a peek at /usr/spool/news reveals:

Message-ID: <1640@randvax.ARPA>
Date: Sun, 22-Jan-84 21:40:39 PST
Article-I.D.: randvax.1640
Posted: Sun Jan 22 21:40:39 1984
Date-Received: Sun, 22-Jan-84 21:40:39 PST

So, Larry, whatever the reason was for your receiving the article `9 days
before the author posted it', you'll have to blame one of the 22 other
sites the message visited...
