Lines: 20 Some years ago I read a quotation for which I've forgotten the source: "An extraordinary pilot is one who uses his extraordinary judgement, experience, and wisdom to avoid the need for his extraordinary skill." This quotation resurfaced in my memory one recent morning (in the shower, if you must know), and I've since been passing it along to my students. It contains considerably more wisdom than the "old .xor. bold" flavor of admonition. I'd like to give credit to the author, if only I knew who he or she is. Can anyone help? Does anyone have similarly instructive 'wise old sayings' to pass along? Jim Ward Apollo Computer Inc. 15 Elizabeth Drive Chelmsford, MA 01824 (617)256-6600 x6433 ...decvax!wivax!apollo!jimw
