Subject: brief comment on the split

Subj; The facts on how things would be, if the split occurred.

I agree that discussions of the proposed split are getting out
of hand. However, I have questions here, not opinions.

	If there is net.music.classical & net.music.rock (AND net.music),
what will get posted where? If I send an article to .classical, will it
also get posted in net.music?? Is that an automatic catch-all?

I'm confused as to whether there will be some overlap or whether
the groups will be exclusive.

If they're exclusive, I'm against the split.

If net.music will catch everything, and the specialized sub-groups
will get only articles directly sent to them, then fine - split away.

It would seem that both the specialists and the eclectics will
be happy. Is this how it WOULD be?

	Please, only USENET guru's reply.
