After trying all available versions of various modem programs, such as
MDM720, which claims to have printer buffering fixed, I've come to the
depressing conclusion that our ancient Lifeboat BIOS' LISTAT is broken
- i.e., returns always ready, and thus overruns.

So, I'm asking if anybody can spare a working LISTAT and LSTOUT
routine to let me drive the parallel printer directly, and I'll wedge
it into one of these programs. CP/M or anyDOS routines welcome!

Thanks,
Frank
