     I'm amazed at how often the "we don' need no stinkin' badges" line
shows up.  I don't recall which instances have come up on the net (besides
the original in "Treasure of the Sierra Madre"), but "Blazing Saddles"
worked it in nicely.  Also a horrible (made-for-TV?) film called "Getting
Wasted", where a critical plot twist depends on a character saying
"Matches!  We don' (...etc.)" and getting beaten up by insulted Hispanics.
(The character has just seen this Bogie film, you see...)

     For some reason this line sticks in peoples' minds.  Once, after
"Sierra Madre" had shown at Dartmouth, someone came in looking for empty
printer-paper boxes.  Three people turned around and chorused "Boxes!  We
don' need no stinkin' boxes!" -- the box-hunter was kind of shaken by this.
It's been a standard joke ever since...
