A quote from the Living Bible in I Corinthians 13 "Love hardly notices when others do it wrong" --Bob Brown What's funny is not the misspelling itself--obviously it was not a simple typo, since it appeared several times---but the fact that this person who has been spouting forth about this evangelist and making references to the Bible obviously hasn't READ the Bible (carefully) or else he would know how to spell Satan. At least others who engage in discussions in this group (taking the Christian viewpoint) know enough about the book they are quoting from to quote from it correctly. I think, though, that it says something about the nature of evangelists and the caliber of their audiences when it's obvious that it's not important to have read the Bible in order to join this particular flock, but it IS important to keep listening---having an open ear (preferably with the suction power on high) and (as TCW has mentioned) an open wallet is more of a requirement than knowledge and thought. (The temptation is strong to say "But isn't that true of all religions...". Through the power of prayer I will resist that temptation...) -- Pardon me for breathing, which I never do anyway oh, god, I'm so depressed... Rich Rosen pyuxn!rlr
