I like waffles, but got tired of them, since the only waffle recipe
I had was the one on the Bisquick box. I went to a free Vegetarian
cooking class, and they made a delicious waffle:
In blender, put 4 c water, 4c oats, 1T oil, and dash of salt.
 Blend. Let sit 10 minutes.
Cook in waffle iron on medium heat, for about 10-15 minutes. They
don't brown quite as much as the bisquick waffles.

It's hard to believe that they are just made of oats and water. I
am going to experiment by adding some sesame seeds and bran next
time. I make a big batch, freeze them, and stick them in the toaster
for breakfasts. (They aren't very sweet, but I think they're pretty
healthy.)
