Sy (you don't mind if I call you Sy, do you?) has raised an
interesting question.  Is grad school worth it?

I suggest we take a vote.  If the vote goes against graduate
school we can, in one popular movement of unprecedented
proportion, all return our diplomas with a request for immediate
reimbursement.  For Sy's gradification (<<---< pun) we could include a
series of multipart forms for the unlucky college administrator
to have his secretary fill out explaining why the college felt
compelled to force us to attend.

Is grad school worth it?  Hell, I don't know.  I didn't NOT DO IT,
though I did stop short (so far) of the BIG ONE.
