Lines: 23 re: A. Nguyen's driving "technique" Well! He's certainly summed up the attitude of the driver who feels that laws interfere with his freedom (I wonder if this behavior translates into other areas...). A lot of heavy usage of the phrases "land of the free" and "my freedom" there. I pay just as much tax as he does. I am entitled to use the road, MY WAY, just as much as he is. Whether I break the law or not is my business. Who the %#@$&* is he to tell me how to drive? Would he rather I pass him on the right going a good 20-30 mph faster, startling him into bolting off into the tulips? Fine, I would be GLAD to park him ANYWHERE he likes on the median. Boy. We haven't seen the likes of a personal freedom speech like that since Patrick Henry, now, have we? Notice that since A. Nguyen's article, no one has stood up (even in net.flame!) to defend the position of the "libertarian" school of driving. I think he's said it all.
