try the EAA or the Confederate Air Force (CAF is in Harligen (sp?)

i hope you are ready to pour massive numbers of dollars into this one!
those things are cheap (for an airplane with that performance) to buy,
but the maintenance could kill you, and don't even think about flying it
(P-51 ran $200 an hour just for fuel and oil a couple of years ago).
i have a friend who owns a T-6 who says he runs 40 gallons an hour,
sigh, but then, it was a military airplane ...
