We are not lazy, we are just concerned about using the 
resources of our employers for activities that are of 
questionable business value.  Many people
read news on company time, others offline, but all are
using company money.  In your case, you might be a student somewhere
and the situation might be different, but we (and other
corporations on USENET) must always be on alert
to justify how this activity can make the bottom line look healthier.

I'm rather surprised that some allegedly computer (?) people make
mockery of the efficiency argument. I certainly would hesitate using
your products... 


P.S. How about those 'Orphaned Response' subject headers, as an example
of how meaningless headers can get?
