No, I'm not going to flame about MTV per se, but the comment that
MTV is generally reliable merits countering.

1) When Yes "re-formed", they constantly referred to Alan White as an
original member of the group. (wrong)

2) When discussing Mick Jones (ex-Clash) and his plans, they refer to
Topper Headon as the original drummer of the Clash.  (also wrong)

They are constantly getting people's names hopelessly wrong and/or
interchanged.  They do attempt to get across a lot of information,
but it is mostly entertainment industry promotion rather than hard info.
On a positive note, MTV was the place where I first heard about the
Residents concert, so they can't be all bad.

(They did broadcast a really neat show this Sunday called "Rebellious
Jukebox".  Did anyone else see it?)
