(I know some of you will always disagree) Articles have mentioned being trapped in a variety of circumstances: stuck in the right lane, stuck in the left lane, stuck behind someone slow, stuck in front of someone dangerous, and so on. (note that I used the English phrase "and so on" instead of the more usual Latin one "et cetera", or an abbreviation!) *** FLAME ON *** People are also mentioning that they are in "packs", which cause all the trouble. This it putting the finger on the problem. I shall now lift the finger (!) and show what lies beneath. The solution is simple: STAY OUT OF THE PACKS! I drive in the *empty* areas between bunches of fighting (and dangerous) automobiles, in complete comfort and safety. I have never been pulled over for this practice, and am rarely afflicted with idiot drivers, who (for some perverse reason) want to harass as many people simultaneously as possible. As a lone (and HUGE) car, I pose no real temptation. (but a very real threat). *** SSSSSSSSSSSssssssss........ (quench) *** Try it my way. If your highways are too crowded, I'll gladly switch houses (and localities, jobs, whatever) with you. I love adventure. The weather rots here: 4 solid *months* of rain last year. -- --John ("Spam") Rehwinkel uucp: ..!seismo!rlgvax!umcp-cs!eneevax!spam (I love getting mail!)
