----------
I don't like flaming, but I am really getting sick of the rhetoric
that "Ooooh, the nasty, nasty Ray-gun will ,
so we have to get him out of office." You people want to make me
	barf.
----------
I'm sure nobody has written anything with the intention of making you barf.
----------
...the market is the strongest its been for years,
----------
We're talking about the same market? The one that's dropped about 125
points in the last month?
----------
all the business indcators indicate good times ahead. And, for your
pet bitch, yes, unemployment is also going down.
----------
The reason the market has glitched is that the indicators are nothing
like that secure. There are a lot of serious economists saying that
we're in a temporary rise before yet another recession.
----------
AND NOW MORE RATIONALLY BACK TO THE SUBJECT:
----------
Curiously enough, I'm willing to give the administration the benefit
of the doubt on Lebanon. I think we're actually there with the goal of
helping to make peace. Clearly it hasn't worked and it's time to give
up this approach, before we get drawn into the war as participant
rather than umpire. Maybe we were foolish to put our people in a
situation where they defused some of the local conflist primarily by
giving everybody a new target.
----------
It would be really nice if we could have peace and harmony and good
will to all men, but that dream is not reality.
----------
Well, I think we should be guided by a spirit of good will to all, both
allies and adversaries. I think we should be open minded and open
hearted in our dealings with the rest of the world. I wouldn't even
restrict the pax to homines bonae voluntate.
