I write a lot of mail to many people, usually in response to their articles on the net. I, for one, am getting REALLY tired of NEVER HEARING from them again. This is especially irritating in view of the fact that I once made a complaint about someone not answering their mail, and that person subsequently flamed me for my (shortly thereafter proved) erroneous opinion, complete with comments that those who do not respond to their mail haven't got the guts to defend their positions (with which I hap- pen to agree). If you comment on the net and then won't discuss your subject further, you shouldn't have submitted the article in the first place. ***!!! FLAME ON !!!*** PEOPLE WRITE MAIL TO OTHER PEOPLE FOR A REASON: THEY WANT TO DISCUSS SOMETHING. THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS LET THE SENDER KNOW THAT YOU RE- CEIVED HIS MAIL. ***!!! flame off !!!*** -- Karl Kleinpaste ...![ [seismo, allegra]!rochester!ritcv, rlgvax]!ccieng5!ccieng2!kfk
