I recently had the hatchback window on my Sentra shatter
as I was opening the hatch. I am not sure what caused
this, but apparently it can break quite easily.
I attribute this to the lack of a metal frame for the
glass. (There is only a rubber frame.)
One possibility is that water got into the seal
and froze, and that the force in opening the hatch
was too much, so the glass just broke.
I would like to know if any other Sentra owners
have had a problem with hatchback window breaking.
(The dealer replaced my window under warranty.)
