About that chronology - I just finished re-reading THENDARA HOUSE (it's
actually better the second time around, or maybe I was in a different mood),
and it seems to me that it comes after THE FORBIDDEN TOWER (maybe - both
books are almost simultaneous),not before. Anybody out there want to
discuss it?

On the topic of THENDARA HOUSE - it struck me as being lopsidedly feminist
(for lack of a better word, no flames, please!) when I first read it, but
this time around it was OK. Maybe it gets better over the years, or else
this time I wasn't quite so put off by a book that had very few sympathetic
male characters (and why should it?). Perhaps I've developed a new
outlook...
