When I really have to drive up the NJ Turnpike, I always go on
the "Trucks and Buses" side. Truck drivers and bus drivers are
not only much better drivers than the average car driver, they
are also a LOT more courteous. They drive for a living, so they
better be good. Their job also depends on their driving, so they
are less likely to engage in egotistical dogfights. They are also
quite mindful of their vehicle's limited acceleration, so they plan
their moves well in advance and are generally very predictable.

As for Wombat's bad experience, has it ever occur to this dingbat :-)
that them trucks need to pick up some speed going down one hill so
that they can make it up the next hill without too much huffing and
puffing ? If you pull out to pass them on the uphill side when they
have to slow down a bit, then you should either pick up enough speed
to pull in in front of them on the down hill side without slowing them
down, or you should wait for them to pass you on the right and pull
in BEHIND them ! Don't be so damn timid with the gas -- punch it
hard when you have to !!!

What does a wombat know about driving anyway ?!
