In advertisments for UNIX System V equipment, one often finds
the reference to CSI = Common Synchronous Interface. Such concepts
are said to make you less vendor dependant for instance in
connection with LANs.

Does anyone out there know where we can find documentation on
CSIs with particular reference to 4.2BSD and System V ??
