We at DCIEM are thinking of purchasing a Kennedy Model 9400 tri-
density tape drive to do backups from our RA81's on a VAX 11750. It is
likely to have a controller at the end of the UNIBUS. The lower two
densities are required for media compatibility among other computers at the
Institute.
Is there anyone on the net who has a Model 9400 and controller on a VAX 11750?
Have you had any problems? What type of controller are you using? Are there
other combinations that we should be thinking of?
I will appreciate any information you folks out there can give me.

Thankyou-Bill Demmery
