Looks like old Ronnie is gonna be reelected.

This claim I make on the basis of one observation, I'll try to
describe it.

Ronald Reagan is a very intelligent man with alot of good ideas.
Everybody knows this, he couldn't have become president otherwise,
please be reasonable, folks. This does not necessarily men that
he makes any kind of a president, or can be effective.

But, from Reagan's opponents comes all sorts of irresponsible flaming,
i.e. "Reagan is an idiot, everything he does is ridiculous, he wants
to start a war, he's a maniac, none of his policies are effective,
it's all his fault, etc."
This type of accusation is easily identifiable as false to the average
citizen. It would be refreshing to hear Reagan's opponents say
something like "Reagan has good intentions and some good ideas, but
I disagree with his policies for such and such reasons."
But, the irresponsible flames and accusations keep on coming.

The point is, irresponsible attacks on Reagan don't make him look bad,
they make the attacker look bad, and that helps Reagan.

So, keep on flaming to insure Reagan's reelection, and thanks, I'm
sure Ronnie will appreciate it.
