I think I have succeeded in implementing the IOBYTE on my Decision I.
I adapted the original North Star segments of Morrow's CBIOS&, and it
seems to work just fine (though haven't figured out many applications
for the additional capability yet).

Gotta fire up GENERIC KERMIT and try out the IOBYTE configuration to see
if that application works.

Any Decision I owners out there interested -- yell, and I'll work up the
patches in a document.  (But give me a few days.)

Still no luck on adapting the BIOS to run soft sector 5 1/4" floppy drives
(as opposed to the N* hard sector ones it was written for) - but I'm told
I'll need a newer (Ver. 2.5) DJ/DMA PROM and am inquiring about that through
my vendor now.  I'll keep you posted.
