I have seen several articles and heard even more rumors concerning
a new AT&T microcomputer. It is to be released in 1984 and available
to employees at a discounted price of $900.00 compared to the retail price
of $5000 to $6000. This microcomputer is based on AT&T's 32-bit chip and
will be of some use as a personal computer.
Is there such a microcomputer being considered or produced by AT&T ?
If so when will it be available and for how much ?

Any reliable information on this elusive subject will be greatly
appreciated by me (and quite a few other employees).

Information should be posted to the network in net.micro and/or
att.micro. Thanks in advance for information.
