I am looking for information on asynchronous communications packages
for the IBM and other PC's. The Holmdel Computer Center wants to do a
survey on what types of packages work well with UNIX and other hosts.
The program must emulate a particular terminal so that it can be used
with full screen type programs. The most important questions are
does it support XON/XOFF in both directions, is there a reliable file
transfer capability and is it generally as good as the terminal it
replaced? Any particulars about what is good or bad about the program
would be appreciated. I will summarize responses and post to the net.
Thanks in advance.
