I usually only tan on my left arm while driving around in the summertime. Anyway, I don't want a tan. Those California (or Florida, etc) tans may *look* nice (and they do) but in a few years your skin will start to shrivel up or you'll get cancer. So... I'll stay uncooked. Your comments about Wisconsin weather were to be expected. Yes, it's cold here (especially in the winter time!) but it doesn't last all that long. The variety is nice - none of those long stretches of nothing but sunshine. I just love it after a 12 hour ice storm, as long as I don't have to go out on the streets. Our only really dangerous weather is in the spring - tornadoes. BUT, I'll *still* take WI and the tornadoes over the sure prospect of an earthquake. So far, the responses I've seen have been pretty mild. Come on, you tanned Califorians! Let us have it! And, please, all of you Northern, Midwest, Northeast, Canadian or other non-Californian climate inhabitants, prepare yourselves to help me out in this discussion. I'm hoping it'll get good and hot, then I can save energy on the furnace. The flame temperature is still below body temperature! -- /"""\ Jeffrey Mattox, Heurikon Corp, Madison, WI |O.O| {harpo, hao, philabs}!seismo!uwvax!heurikon!jeff (news & mail) \_=_/ ihnp4!heurikon!jeff (mail - fast)
