During that time I had no problems, and enjoyed their maintenance-free quality. After that I stopped riding very much, but I still have them and they still work fine. They came with a five year warrantee, as I recall. I never made a serious attempt to compare them with other hubs, but I always assumed they had slightly higher resistance than top quality conventional bearing hubs.
