OK Larry, put your money where your mouth is. What Kennedy tax cuts?
What boom? I was earning a living during those times and I don't
remember any tax cuts under Kennedy. You have been listening to too much
rhetoric from the infamous eight. You may be thinking of Johnson for
a 3% inflation rate (1967). Don't, please don't ascribe to Kennedy what
is not so. There is enough myth surrounding the man now. You know, of
course that it was Kennedy and his cohorts in Congress who screwed up
the Social Security System by releasing the, then more than adequate, funds
into the general revenue from whence it was sucked up in giveaway programs?
Check and see what happened to all that money that had been set aside in
the Social Security Trust Fund. It no longer exists. As for unemploymnet,
I blame no President for unemployment. I blame Unions and Management for
those problems. I blame Unions for asking for too much for doing too
little and management for not planning for the future by modernizing
the plants and products. xy

This ought to be enough to start some good fires out there. There are
always two or three Kennedyophiles lurking about, ready to flame if the
king is said to have no clothes on. I can imagine that there are a few
unionists also. And if I have misspelled something, go suck an egg.
