Truckers may be nice people when they start to drive! However, after
enjoying being in their huge powerful machines and being able to literally
look down at the puny little vehicles that insist on sharing the road with
them, they can often undergo a drastic personality change.

Lets face it. When a truck crashes into a standard automobile, who gets
hurt more? Usually, the truck plows right on while the car bounces off the
road. Many truckdrivers are not aware that their headlights are blinding us
because they are mounted higher. They may also not know how threatening it
is to have their shadow fall on us and how we can not see a damn thing ahead
of us because they blot out the sky. I particularly hate the tankers that
have signs like "Warning: Flammable or Explosive materials". Although
truckers may be nice people, I prefer them when they are not sitting in the
cab of their trucks. With the 55mph speed limit, many of them are now trying
to hurry to get somewhere without too many tickets. This makes it very
tempting to be less than courteous. I don't totally blame them.

For those who are not faint of heart, there is one good thing about trucks.
If you stay right behind them, you get better mileage because you just get
sucked along with a decreased amount of air resistance. This is not
reccomended when the ground is wet.
