I am trying to create a Dialout port on a Xerox Star System. Although
Xerox seems to support the Ven Tel and the Racal Vadic Auto-Dial modems, I have
access to only the Hayes and the NEC auto dial modems.

Has anyone in netland done this, and if so, how did you configure the
port: as part of the Interactive Terminal Service or as a TTY Emulator? When
you used the non-Xerox standard auto-dial modem, did you try to fake the
system out by saying the modem was auto-dial, or did you tell it that it did
not have an auto-dialer.

	Thanks in advance.
