Lines: 13 The motives & interests of advocates & opponents of ESP (research) are irrelevant: what counts is the evidence & arugument each side offers. The claim being made about Gardner's & Randi's books is that they offer overwhelming evidence & argument that not only ESP claims are false, & the notion ESP virtually meaningless for science, but that many cases of outright fraud have occurred (& are fully documented). Strictly speaking, "balance" & "dispassion" are irrelevant to making a case for/against anything: what really counts is crucial evidence & cogent argument. Cheers, Ron Rizzo
