Thanks for a nice, balanced, non-fanatical letter!  My only comment relates
to vegetarian meals on airlines.  I enjoy the vegetarian meals served
on United much better than the standard fare.  I find the food to be
somewhat more carefully prepared, and I enjoy the individual attention
I receive.  I also enjoy more-or-less publicly asserting my opinion
that I prefer vegetarian food: perhaps those sitting next to me will be
left with one more vague impression that vegetarian meals are not reserved
for the "fringe element" (at least I don't *think* I look like I belong
to the "fringe element", although I may in reality be close to it! :-)).
