Yep -- my IOBYTE implementation works (couldn't be absolutely sure at 0400
when things were kind of stupid out).

Now, gentlesirs and madams -- what do I do with it? Neat, I guess to list
a document to printer or screen, but I could do that anyway!

What neat, wonderful, otherwise impractical/impossible tricks can I do with
an IOBYTE that I couldn't do before?

(The Toad, for some reason, doesn't seem surprised that such strange
redirection is occurring in its innards - computers can be so complacent
sometimes!)
