Oh, my... the hyper-objectivist and subjecto-objectivist are at each other's
throats again. Before you begin open speculation on each other's lineage,
why not state to the world your credentials?

I'm sure all of us (at least myself) would like to know rabbit!jj's and Mr.
Rastocny's (sp?) history in this hobby - present equipment - just how many
CD players and analog systems each has listened to, and for how long at each
sitting - and, of course, their professional specialty. This way we
can determine for ourselves whether the aforementioned combatants are full of
cr*p instead of having them tell us.

I have been amused by rabbit!jj's tart rebuttals to Mr. Rastocny's impassioned
postings for some time - but lately, their arguments have contained more
character defamation than AUDIO OPINION.

Mr. Rastocny, WHY do you pick on CD phase and not much else? Does `better' mean
more like A PERFORMANCE YOU'VE HEARD LIVE, or like you think a live performance
sounds like?
rabbit!jj, what in your personal experience supports your opinions? I agree
with the theory you quote but haven't heard much else.

Define your terms! Define your assumptions! State your sources!
I'm waiting...

Peace on the net and good ears to all,
--
