Rob,

My company, Textware Intl., offers the Tpost software package,
which interfaces a number of phototypesetters to both Troff
& DiTroff. These typesetters include the CG8400 & 8600,
Autologic APS-{4,5,u5}, and the Mergenthaler (Linotron) 202.

Tpost (DiTpost) functions as a post-processor for a stock
Troff (DiTroff), and is generally used as a filter.
The full functionality of tbl, eqn, -m[esm...] is available
without restriction.

While each version of Tpost is in production use at customer
sites, we ourselves have a CG 8600, on which we offer a
phototypesetting service to Unix users; hence, the 8600
version is especially robust.
