One of the biggest inconsistancies of M*A*S*H was
with the character of Radar. In the first few
years of the show he was more "street wise" than
portrayed in later episodes (especially after
Harry Morgan showed up). In early shows Radar
is shown smoking cigars and "picking up" nurses.

For some reason they writers or producers decided
to make Radar a naive kid. I'm not sure when the
change occurred, but the difference is obvious.


In answer to the question about Hawkeye's home
town: I don't remember ever hearing anything of
that sort (I am an extremely big M*A*S*H fan).

Any more inconsistancies out there?
