(Maybe a significant fraction of you are actually interested in the answer, so it's not so bad...) In a recent note you mentioned a product, MAE from Eastern House Software, which was a "co-resident machine language editor, formatter, and superfast assembler, with macro capability, linked two pass assembly from multiple disk files, plus monitor, forwards and backwards scrolling, excellent user support and documentation, plus a users group to boot with a jillion public domain disks."
