In my undergrad in India, many of us men used to dance together at occasional
parties which we would have. This was primarily due to the fact that it was
almost all male engg. college. But, even in discos (not all, many are restrictedto couples only) one can see men dancing without partners. This was not at
all considered wierd. Now I don't think I would like to do it myself.

Moreover, it was a common practice to walk with hands on the shoulders of the
friend. I never thought about it then. When I came to US I had to make somewhat
of an effort to make sure that I do not do things like that.
