Why were you digging?  I would have thought digging in a known cave area
would be a little unsafe, since you never know where you might break through.

Anyone in NJ/NY/PA go on intermediate trips often enough that they wouldn't
mind some company?  A couple of us have full equipment, but have run out of 
caves...
