Russ & all,

Based on your latest info on the SRI sound board, stating that
it is (loosely) based on the design of the GI spec sheets design:
If this is the case then it will NOT work in a Zentih Z-100 at 5 MHz.
The best it could do would be 4MHz, unless I/O wait stuff is added.
I've been all through that with my design on the Z-100 and I have had
a radically different design that is FAST and still worked at 5 MHz
after I ripped out (gently) my I/O wait circuits. My redesign to
incorporate I/O wait stuff eliminated my need for I/O wait suff...

Anyway, after 4 months of grief, It works, no detectable distortion,
pure sounds (The GI audio output recommended circuit left much to
be desired, so I did it my way...). The thing works fantastically,
much beyond what I was hoping for. I have what I wanted, and now
my friends want one too.

Cheers,
Gern
