Speaking of puns......

This one was told to me by a friend, who says it is from
'Games' magazine. I will cheerfully give him any flames you
can send me.

It seems there is a Naval big-wig on a destroyer who's orders
are to go to a group of islands and stay there for a while.
So the guy gets there and decides to cruise the islands, look-
ing for anything that might be going on. So he tells one of
the privates (or whatever they are called in the navy) to drive
the boat around the islands. The private does real well at his
job and the pleased commander makes him fulltime pilot of the
destroyer.

Time passes, and one day, as the private is driving the ship
destroyer around, he crashes into and island (or something).
This, as you can imagine, makes the commander really angry.

Think how he feels. I mean, this guy grounded the warship he
walked upon.
