Lines: 9 Not only do the VT220 series terminals also put the ESC, BS etc keys above the number row, but they are only there in vt100 emulation mode! In "normal" vt220 mode, these keys generate brain-damaged escape sequences. The closest thing to a escape key in this mode is either CONTROL-3 (yes, control-key three!) or CONTROL-[ I hope I never have to use one of these things. DEC is reportedly phasing out the VT100 series terminals, also. Does anyone know of a good replacement terminal?
