Message-ID: <270@hou2h.UUCP> Date: Fri, 27-Jan-84 21:32:34 EST Article-I.D.: hou2h.270 Posted: Fri Jan 27 21:32:34 1984 Date-Received: Tue, 31-Jan-84 02:35:47 EST Organization: Bell Labs, Holmdel NJ Lines: 16 I'm not sure what Mr Thayer meant by "too stiff for ...", but I did have a Pickering XSV3000, which I cleaned regularly using a Discwasher Stylus Cleaner, fail after just a bit over a year. The sound in one channel just dropped out altogether. A lot of cable swapping convinced me that the cause is internal to the cartridge. By the way, does anybody know where I can get the bleeding thing fixed? All the shops I checked look at me as if I'm trying to get a junkyard refugee Vega restored or something.
