Message-ID: <165@shell.UUCP> Date: Wed, 15-Feb-84 23:41:45 EST Article-I.D.: shell.165 Posted: Wed Feb 15 23:41:45 1984 Date-Received: Sat, 18-Feb-84 03:25:46 EST Organization: Shell Development CS Group, Houston, Texas Lines: 23 I sent in my original diskettes and a check to Computer Innova- tions for the optimizing compiler.... on the 8th of January. I have yet to receive the compiler. Has _anyone_ gotten the C86 optimizing compiler? What's the delay? I called CI, and one of the girls who answered the phone said she'd send it out within the next two days. That was 2 weeks ago. I really prefer the Computer Innovations compiler to Lattice. I think Computer Innovations has a much better library than Lat- tice, but the Lattice I/O speed makes the Computer Innovations product look like a real dog. But when I ordered the new Lattice C compiler, I had it within 7 days of placing the order. Also, at the beginning of the year, I joined the CiC86 user's group, dutifully sending in my $20. I haven't seen a newsletter or the promised bulletin board. Anyone know what's up? Any insight or answers would be appreciated! RF Starr
