LA's subway, the Metrorail, will be operational by the 1990s, provided
that the people here figure out that LA isn't a small, western mission
town anymore but a huge, metropolitan area with tall buildings and
roads that are just too crowded to continue keeping up with the
tremendous influx of people by the mere adding of lanes to the freeway.
Unfortunately, the Metrorail wont go to Anaheim, so if the Dodgers
play the Angels in a series, I guess it would still be a Freeway Series.
