I read the news (often) at 300 baud, and I am really getting TIRED of seeing
multi-line signatures, filled with 'cute' quotes, and little pictures.

CAN'T YOU BLOODY WELL KEEP YOUR SIGNATURE DOWN TO A SINGLE LINE (OR AT MOST
TWO) DESCRIBING A SIMPLE USENET ADDRESS!!!!

1) you are wasting resources, because every character uses telephone time and
disk space

2) It's a bloody pain to have to suffer thru your signature more than once if
you don't just keep it short and to the point (this can also be said of some
contributions).

3) Putting your sig out here may
look nice, but it takes a lot
longer to print at 300 baud!

LETS have SOME consideration. OK?
