Most recommended writing my own filter. R. Kolstad (allegra!parsec!kolstad) sent a copy of his filter. Mike Brown (sdcsvax!kpno!brown) and David Wasley (ucbvax!dlw) pointed out that I could use open(unit=6, form='print') early in my program, and -lI77uc on my f77 (library libI77uc.a) to achieve the results. David says that library is standard in 4.2bsd. If INQUIRE is later used on this file, it also returns form = 'print'. -- Peter Montgomery {bli,blix,bmcg,burdvax,cbosgd,csun,hplabs,hughes,ihnp4,ihnss, netvax,orstcs,parallax,randvax,sdccsu3,sdcnet,sdcsvax,slant45, trw-unix,ucla-s,ucla-vax}!sdcrdcf!pmontgom
