Someone said earlier of how he was trying to transport a friend to the hospital and was subjected to the "Try and get around me now treatment". I know of a similiar experience first hand. I was in W. Tenn. at the time and doing a little volunteer work at one of the area hospitals when a need for transportation of a rare blood type was needed. (O- ) This was more or less in rural area and the nearest ambulance was an hour away and already in use. The State troopers in Tenn. which I have heard rated as the best in the nation, (some time ago, and may C C C still be) are frequently called on to do such tasks but here again one was not available. Since I was going in that direction back toward college and I was also driving a fairly new and reliable car I volunteered to take it to the clinic that was in dire need for an immediate transfusion. Along the wasy I was treated to the "No I will not move over, I was here first and I am not breaking the law" treatment. I only wish I could have let that person know the reason that I needed to pass him . This helped me to decide that it is not my place to determine whether or not another driver is or is not in the wrong, for he may have an emergency that requires his haste. I also tend to think in this way and it may be worthwhile considering by those of you who may still stand in the way. If a person is truly out just for the reckless abandon of driving as fast as he wants, and has no more consideration for others or himself for doing so then I would much rather allow him to get by as soon as possible, and conditions will allow, because it is much easier for me to keep a cautious eye on him with him in front of and not behind me. In some states it is also a violation and you can be ticketed for passing on the right hand side. I believe the reason being you are placing yourself in that drivers blind spot when it could be avoided.(in most instances) If he decides to change into that lane and you meet, you may find yourself at fault. Nuff said. pardon the indigestion of the editor in the middle of the article. Lookin at ya from behind Tom Maupin ....}sb1!scbhq!moctem till be
