	For those of you that don't know--

The AI handbooks survey the field of AI. They consist of chapters
on the main topics such as search, knowledge representation, natural
language understanding, program languages, vision, learning, and other
topics. The three volumes were compiled at Stanford with contributions
from researchers in AI. I recommend these books.
