All of the Golden Temple restaurants I have ever been in were
operated by the 3HO (Happy, Healthy, Holy) Organization. These
folks are NOT "krishnas", they are Sikhs. The restaurants are
named after the holiest temple of Sikhism in India, which is also
called The Golden Temple. I have always enjoyed having dinner
at these restaurants.

My remarks aagainst airplane 'vegetarian' meals were somewhat
sarcastic. I fly infrequently, but every time I have, the airline
has fouled up providing my veg meal, in spite of my following all
their rules, like calling to remind them the day before. All
the steward(ess) can do is scrape the meat off a standard meal
and give me that. Unfortunately, when hte person sitting next to
you sees that, they do indeed get a poor impression of vegetarianism.

Generally, travelling is indeed the hardest part of being vegetarian.
Many restaurants serve NO main dishes that are meatless.

BTW, if you are reading this, LC, I tried 4 times to reply by
MAIL to your letter, and none seem to have gotten through. Want
to send me a path?
