I agree -- going 65 in a 35 zone should be a flogging offense (one stroke of the cat o' nine tails per mph over the limit?). The driver should at LEAST be required to walk home from the point of the infraction. For the rolling "stop" at an intersection sufficiently dangerous to be marked with a red flasher ... I would vote for a three month license revocation. Lest someone think that I am sending this tongue in cheek ... I am quite serious. I have had to contend at night and on long trips with Florida Cowboys like the author of the article above. Unfortunately, there is no metric for maturity with which the eligability for a drivers license can be determined. Happiness is seeing the red flashers come on behind the fool who just put your life in serious danger because it was his "right" and he/she is a superb driver ... after all, they have only smashed up a few times!
