That previously mentioned fix for Concept AVT parity problems seems to be only
partial.  It does fix the immediate problem of exiting on any keystroke, but
I find that if I type too fast on the terminal, I get into the same situation.
However, if I set the terminal's parity to  (always 0), the speed
problem goes away too.  Chris, do you have any suggestions?
