The 'std', oh redundant one, refers to `standards' (as it says in the
List of Newsgroups) for the discussion of standards.

I asked our NetNews guy to get this on our system (thank you, Les!)
and I am interested in proposed or existing standards for C, Pascal,
and Unix.  Please contribute here!  Thank you.
