Cozumel was great though. We stayed at the El Presidente, and there was good snorkling and scuba right off the beach. The boat trip I went on was terrific... I didn't have a buddy, but that didn't seem to cause a problem...the whole group stays pretty close together. The posted rates at the hotel were much lower than what our tour had charged us.
