I just noticed the two new newsgroups "pgh.general" and "pgh.food".
Previously there were no group names of the form "pgh.all".
I think that the time is appropriate to begin a local Pittsburgh network.
Even if the number of articles posted is low,
having the mechanism in place is valuable.
I seem to have missed any discussion in "net.news.group"
concerning its creation.
I believe that would have been the appropriate procedure.
I think that the name "pgh.misc" would have been more appropriate
than "pgh.general".
I also believe that one group should suffice,
until a need for a specialized group such as "pgh.food" is demonstrated.
