When I worked at the Carnegie-Mellon CS dept, one of these was being
evaluated by the comp center for use as an intermediate machine for
the much vaunted C-MU/IBM joint venture.  Basically, some IBM minion
brought this thing up as a suggestion, it was checked out, and summarily
laughed out the door.  The fellow who did the evaluating was Phil
Almquist, now a grad student at Stanford CS (sorry, I don't have his
address).  You might also obtain a copy of the report he wrote by
writing to Tom Bajzek, care of:
