As far as getting the books goes, I have had pretty good experience.
The first and third volume can in about 3 weeks, along
with a notice that the second volume was back ordered.
I got the second volume in about another two weeks, which I
thought was pretty good, especially since the nothice I got
said not to expect it for a couple of months.

My only complaint is the lack of selections in the monthly
fliers. Most of the books seem geared towards business applications
or home computer use, while the initial advertisement seemed
to suggest a larger and more varied selection. The good thing is,
even if you end up having to get several lousy books, you have still
gotten the AI Handbook for about 1/3 the regular price.

Also, a friend who subscribes to the book club found that if you have
a specific book that you want, and it's not in the list, you
can call or write, and they very likely might have it. She got
a Thermodynamics text, and it counted toward her three selections.
