I'm not sure what I did, but my C64 refuses to power up. When I turn on the
power switch, the LED fails to come on and I detect only a slight change in
the appearance of the TV I'm using as a monitor. I've checked both power
and RF connections (and unplugged everything else). The internal fuse looks
good, and, in any case, this used to be an intermittent problem.

I'm getting neither video nor audio (checking the latter with a game
cartridge).

Has this happened to anyone else? Suggestions of other things to try would
be appreciated. In lieu of (or in addition to) those, recommendations
and/or flames about C64 repair places in the Portland (OR) area would also
be welcomed.

Thanks.
