Now, now, let us not make rash statements. Overall, I much prefer GM to
any other American car. My friend, who is a manager at a rent-a-car place
agrees. Paraphrasing his thoughts on reliablety (note, his location has
over 500 cars), Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge are the worst: His argument: They
had a new fleet of 20 said cars and within a month they were all in the
shop. The next most reliable were Fords with GM being the most reliable.
Note: They have had the best luck with Japanese cars.

I have to admit, that the Fiero is on the slow side, but GM is correcting
this buy soon having a six-cylinder avail. I have also heard rumors about
a 4-cylinder turbo. For your comparisons of the Daytona to the
Camero/Firebird, those are different classes of cars, although they tend
to be marketed at the same group. You comparison of the daytona to the
corvett is so unfounded and is pathetic. The corvett will blow away any
US car and maybe all but a couple of foreign sports cars.

Note: I said sport cars. I do not recognize the daytona to be a sports
car but rather sports coupe more in the class of a Citation X-11. I also
do not believe that the Camero/Firebird is a true sports car.
