The speaker will be from the NJ Department of Health, the Centers for Disease Control, or one of the NJ Hospitals active in treating people with AIDS. There may also be representatives from Gay Mens Health Crisis and the New Jersey Lesbian and Gay Coalition to give small presentations. Topics will include: A description of AIDS, what it is and isn't; Who it affects; Symptoms to watch for; Safer sex guidelines; The latest statistics; an update of any recent findings on transmission; and a Q & A session.
