I listened to some Bose (I don't know the number, but several different
models) speakers recently.  They all sounded terrible.  (NOTE THAT THIS
IS ONLY A SUBJECTIVE OPINION AND I DO NOT INVITE DISCUSSION OF MY OPINION.
I provide this for the benefit of the asker.  I welcome other comments on
the line of speakers which Bose pushes off on consumers.)

[I can't resist -- I saw a sign recently that said 'The worlds greatest
loudspeakers' advertising -- you guessed it -- Bose speakers.  Certainly
the worlds greatest speakers, if marketing hype is any measure.]
