My emergency CB (which works perfectly fine in my 1977 Volare) has
problems with my 1983 Toyota Landcruiser wagon. After *many* hours
of trying interference fixes and radio shop visits, it appears a
computer which controls the engine is the cause. It works OK at
lower rpm, but at highway speeds I have to turn up my squelch to
eliminate a random, trashy noise. This cuts my reception range to
about a mile.

Does anyone out there have a solution?
