That's not a function of the weight of the smoke, but of the fact that, relative to the distance between the heads and the surface, a smoke particle looks like a hefty-sized boulder. Those days aren't gone; people *still* shouldn't smoke in computer rooms because the smoke particles can *still* screw your disk.
