(Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.) With the problems getting ANY TA's, though, I don't know if they can afford to be selective. TA's here are paid around $530/month, are expected to teach six hours and carry at least six hours, and don't get a tuition waiver of any kind. (My complaint was that graduate students aren't let into the Chemistry and Mathematics libraries in the evenings or weekends. Try to do homework with that restriction!) Jeff Bowles Lisle, IL
