Other biggies at Commodore have left before Jack. He
was kind of a last holdout - and with Commodore just
celebrating their 25 aniversary from meager beginnings
as a typewriter repair shop in Toronto, maybe he thinks
that it's time to leave.

Chuck Peddle (the brains behind the PET and VIC) left
a couple of years ago to start his own company called
VICTOR (sound familiar?). VICTOR computers are having
a tough go of it in the US, but are supposedly doing
quite well in Europe.
