        I realize that this is not entirely the right forum, but
perhaps there are some people on this list who can provide
pointers.  We here at BBN are looking for a good CAD system to
run on our UNIX machines.  I think we are most interested in
buying a flexible software package rather than a standalone
workstation (although I'd be happy to hear arguments to the
contrary).  We have a lot of BitGraph terminals (1024x768 bitmap
graphics terminals), plotters, and computers around, so finding
proper I/O and CPU cycles is probably not an issue.  We are
primarily interested in schematic drawing and simulation
packages, with secondary emphasis on PC layout and mechanical
design.  Does anyone have any good suggestions? 

	Is there an info-CAD list I should send this to?
