In particular, I'm wondering how "good" the port is--what the address space/user is, what kind of memory management they use, and how invisible the multi-tasking is. I've used a 68000 port where VI "dies" if a C compilation goes on in the background; on the other hand, the ONYX Z8000 system I used several years ago gave a pretty good emulation of a standard PDP-11/70 running V7--I never was unduly reminded that this was a much less powerful system. Also, I'd like to know whether Tandy is providing an entire UNIX binary system, or following the despicable practice of unbundling certain essentials (such as the C compiler) and changing separately for them. /Steve Dyer
