When in a late-night store a couple of days ago
I saw the cover of PEOPLE magazine, in which it
said Karen Carpenter died after a "brave struggle
with Anorexia Nervosa" (I might have paraphrased
a little, but that's the gist).

How could that have been a brave struggle? I thought
Anorexia Nervosa was self-inflicted starvation. So
that's like saying "Harry died after a brave struggle
with asphyxiation in the garage where he closed all the
windows and started his car and went to sleep".

	-Have I got something wrong,
or is PEOPLE Magazine everything I thought it was?
