As you might have guessed at times I've owned more than one (my fleet).
I have always done all my own work and can give advice to owners of the
above models.

I'm considering buying something new this year. I'm looking into
YAMAHA XV920 (leftovers still available)
BMW ST80 (street version of monoshock model)
Any advice from owners or riders of same would be apreciated.

My advice to first time buyers, don't sink all you money into a new
bike that you might trash, don't overlook the value of roll bars, and
don't be afraid to get up to a semi-big sized bike (750cc, 500lbs) if your
strong enough to handle it.
