I always seem to find myself living in the fringe reception areas of cities (New York, now Philadelphia) and I would like to listen to stations from the city. On some days stereo reception is fine, but usually it is unpleasantly noisy. I tried the Radio Shack FM signal booster (6 dB I believe) and it had virtually no effect. I will welcome any suggestions, even if it means a new radio- the one I have is a lousy dealer-installed one, which does not even allow you to disable the stereo and listen in mono to reduce noise!
